That tape is so small, it barely covers their mouths. |

I notice the gal is sitting with her legs crossed. I've often thought that was kind of an odd thing. I've seen that in several DiD scenarios, the woman is generally tied to a chair (sometimes just sitting on a couch or chair with her hands tied behind her) and if her feet are unbound, they sometimes sit with their legs crossed in that way lots of ladies do, it just seems so casual in light of their supposed perilous situation. I remember a scene from about 10 years ago on Days of Our Lives, Jamie Lynn Baur was kidnapped & being kept tied to a chair & gagged in a secret room. Her legs were not tied and in several shots she was sitting there & was crossing her legs that way. At first I though it was just a blooper and it wasn't supposed to be in camera shot but they showed her that way quite a lot, sometimes in full view of the camera, so it must have been intentional. And there are several other scenes I have seen over the years where a tied up damsel is sitting with one leg casually crossed over the other. Now, I'm not saying that if a lady was tied to a chair she might want to make herself as comfortable as possible, but crossing her legs in that lady-like manner generally associated with casualness just looks kind of funny, especially when contrasted to her hands being uncomfortably tied behind her and a gag in her mouth. |

She's crafty, that one. Check out how she brilliantly morphs into a headless plastic mannequin as the deadly paper-cutter blade comes down at the end of chapter 5. (It's a great trick as long as you know you can change back.) |

A woman in a skirt crosses her legs "in a lady-like manner" to protect her modesty (at least in part). This a good idea if she has been taken captive by dastardly deed-doers so as not to give them even more dastardly ideas about taking advantage of her vulnerability. |
