Re: House of Cards
With Neve Campbell being on the show it sure would be nice if she'd get the full treatment at some point here, something to make up for her disappointing scene in An Amish Murder and of course her always evading capture in the Scream films.

The Walking Dead
Preview for next weeks Walking dead shows Melissa McBride's character sporting a black cleave gag after her and Lauren Cohan were caught and before that it looks like their hands were being bound with duct tape
What?

Re: The Walking Dead
Hopefully this leads to a good full scene for Lauren. I hope she gets a good duct tape gag.

So far, not much. Jenna Fischer was tied up for a brief moment. Her hands were tied behind her around a pillar.
Ok

Re: The Walking Dead
Also worth noting Alicia Witt is joining the show as well, with luck she'll get a new scene. I've long wanted to see her get a silver duct tape gag after her black tape one she got in Urban Legend, maybe this show will deliver just that. She nearly got it when she was on a CSI: Miami episode a few years back.

Yeah, I'd say it's quite a good bet that Lauren Cohan will be bound & gagged next week. Since previews showed a quick shot of Melissa McBride with what looks like a black knotted cleave gag, and since Neegan's men have both Carol and Maggie, and nine times outta 10 if one hostage is tied & gagged, both usually are. And I imagine it'll be a cleave gag just like Melissa's.
This show just gets better & better....for lotsa reasons!

Re: The Walking Dead
I wonder if Melissa's cleave gag is before or after the duct tape tying. I'd MUCH rather see Lauren get duct tape on her mouth and hope we will. Perhaps she might get both a cleave and duct tape which is fine by me.

In the last twenty five minutes Rachel is outside her house and her friend (the stalker) greets her and chloroforms her and puts her in the van and tapes her hands behind her no gag. The mother (Jennifer Dorogi) follows the van to the cabin far from town and goes in to find her daughter on a mattress and the friend chloroforms her. The next scene Rachel is tied spread eagle on the bed and the mother is in a chair with her hands taped behind the chair. She breaks free and knocks the stalker friend.

Re: The Bletchley Circle
It ran in the US on PBS, and is available from Amazon and the usual sources.

DB entry:

Record number: 16731

Title: The Bletchley Circle
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Thomasin Rand

Description: Episode: "Cracking a Killer's Code, Part 1" (1.1)

1950s-era UK miniseries about a group of women who had worked as codebreakers during World War II, now reunited to track down a serial killer.

At 6-7mins, the atmosphere is established as the unknown killer drags a burlap sack into a basement, in scenes intercut with the heroine's home life. The sack is opened up to reveal an unconscious girl with her hands tied in front with rope. The killer proceeds to feel her up.

At 28-29mins, the earlier sequence is explained when Mary Lawrence (Thomasin) is seen sitting on a train reading a book. The killer enters the carriage compartment and ominously sits down across from her. She is next shown at 29-30mins, waking up on a mattress in a dark cellar; her hands are tied in front and overhead to a pipe with a burgundy cloth, and she is OTM gagged with a matching cloth. After some loud mmpphhing, she manages to pull down the gag and start screaming her head off, to no avail as the camera angle shifts outdoors to show that she is at an isolated location.

At 41-42mins, the women of the circle have put together enough information to figure out where Mary is being held. However, when they find her, she is quite dead (eyes wide open) and her hands are still tied to the post.

All times based on the Blu-ray release.
