Thursday March 17 11:06:56 2016 Upcoming Scene on “Orange Is the New Black?” |
While I’ve never seen “Orange Is the New Black” so I don’t know what it’s about, there does seem to be an upcoming scene with Taylor Schilling judging by the picture on this page: http://www.ew.com/gallery/orange-new-black-season-4-photos I don’t know if she gets bound but she at least gets gagged. |

> Any notable Irish scenes or Irish DinD"s? Doesn't seem to be much Title: Fair City Medium: Soap Opera Actress: Clelia Murphy Description: Long-running Irish soap opera had a scene in January, 2000 when this young lady was tied up and detective gagged with a black cloth. This may be Ms. Murphy's first film credit. The only other film is listed as being in "post-production". |

It seemed like a worthy question, so I did a quick cross-reference of 228 Irish actresses (as listed in Wikipedia) with the voluminous scene database, and here's what I got. Looking up their individual scenes to figure out what's worthwhile is left as an exercise for the reader, but I did include the scenes that I could easily determine have at least one clip in the Drive archive. Aisling Franciosi Aisling O'Sullivan Alison Doody (Temptation) Amanda Burton (Silent Witness "Fatal Error", Boon "Charity Begins at Home") Amy Huberman (Bad Karma) Antonia Campbell-Hughes Audrey Dalton (The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. "The Romany Lie Affair", Thriller "Hay-Fork and Bill-Hook") Bernadette O'Farrell (The Adventures of Robin Hood "Maid Marian") Caitriona Balfe Caroline O'Hara Charlene McKenna (Being Human "The Looking Glass") Charlie Murphy (Happy Valley E01-E04) Dervla Kirwan Doreen Keogh Emma Eliza Regan (Jack Taylor: The Dramatist) Fintan Meyler (Thriller "Well of Doom") Fiona Shaw Flora Montgomery Frances Tomelty (Star Trap) Joyce Redman Karen Hassan (The Fall "My Adventurous Song") Katie McGrath Laura Donnelly (The Fall "Dark Descent") Laura Pyper (Luther S03E02) Lisa Dwan (Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog "Aideen's Choice"/"Draganta") Maria Doyle Kennedy Maureen O'Hara (The Black Swan, Jamaica Inn) Maureen O'Sullivan (The Bishop Misbehaves, My Dear Miss Aldrich, Tarzan's Secret Treasure) Michelle Fairley Nora-Jane Noone (Jack Taylor: The Dramatist) Peggy Cummins Roma Downey (The Survivor's Club) Ruth Bradley (Primeval S04E05) Ruth Negga Saoirse Ronan Sarah Bolger Sinead Keenan Susan Lynch Tina Kellegher |

Being set in South Boston (as Irish as anywhere outside Ireland) in a movie modeled after Boston mobster Whitey Bulger should qualify it as Irish (the dark side of Irish at least)... By the way, I think the movie is being shown sometime on HBO this week. |

Next week's show (3/23 I think) features an abducted woman, so there could be a scene...damn them if not! |
