Monday February 25 05:03:52 2013 Oscar winners |
With the Academy Awards last night, I got to thinking: who is everyone's favourite Oscar winning actress who has had a full treatment scene? Or, failing that, favourite nominee? Mine's would have to be Reese Witherspoon for Best Laid Plans. Also, has anyone ever won an Oscar for a film where they recieve the full-treatment? Or, if not an Oscar, any major award for a role where they were B&G? |

Eggar did win the Golden Globes' Best Actress-Drama for "The Collector". |

We need a database extract or query API to allow us to join it with a database of Oscar winning actresses. It would help if our DB had explicit fields for gags (with a sub-category for tape, cleave, OTM, etc.) and for things like feet tied, hands tied in front, back, gagged but not tied, etc. It's ripe for data mining. :) |

Do you know of any scenes where the hero is about to resscue the damsel, but then changes his mind, in order to tease her or to carry out a plan? The only one that I can think of, is the classic scene from Raiders Of The Lost Ark. I also think that this scene was very recently pretty much copied in an episode of a French series called XIII, the damsel in question was Roxane Mesquida. So, do you know of any other scenes like the one from Raiders? Does anyone have that scene from XIII? |

Does anyone have that scene from XIII? I do recall a telenovella where a hottie is bound and gagged with rope and a cleave gag along side a putz... The woman helps the man escape but he refuses to free her and leaves her there. She then goes frantic... |

Off the top of my pointy head, I'd go with Marisa Tomei (Best Supporting Actress) who has been both captive and captor, and great on both sides. And, cheating a bit, Elizabeth Ashley won a Tony and had one of my five most favorite scenes ever in a "Mission Impossible" episode. |

Yes, she is tape gagged once more. She seems to be pouting behind the tape gag 35:26-36:57 bad guy enters the scene with his tape gagged captive. She is ungagged by her sister the cop again after some action(I love the sound of that tape getting ripped off her mouth, makes me want to see her getting regagged and ungagged more) I was kind of disappointed that she didn't left her gagged because of their earlier fight. |
