Zero Hour
No talk on last night's Zero Hour?
I am out of town & won't be able to watch the episode till tomorrow. I assume it came thru with a bondage scene? How was the scene?

The bondage scene was VERY short. Jacinda Barrett is briefly seen gagged with duct tape.

Fantastic that someone posted these links. After browsing, I still recall many of these covers - (Too bad I wasn't smart enough to save all of the ones I used to have back then).

But, does any of the collectors/old times/etc. really know why these mags vanished from publication?? In the 1970's, I had to serve in the military overseas, and it seemed like when I returned, they had just disappeared. I've always wondered...

Re: VAN's FiCTiON & Beaty & the Beast comment
After sitting through Beauty & the Beast last night, it just occurred to me how you totally hit the nail in the head when it comes to the CW shows. The action (if you call it that) was over by 9:40 and the next 20 minutes was all sappy relationship mumbo jumbo.
Your quote was something to the effect of
"whatever they put in the meat grinder over there, be it spies, vampires or superhero's comes out the other" end a bland boring soap opera

Most screen time
Which actresses do you think spent the most screen time in bondage in a show or movie?

Seems to me that I once read somewhere (maybe here) that a lot of the pictures used on those Detective mag covers were taken from (the relatively tame parts of) commercial bondage video film shoots.

When I first got interested ibn this stuff (1968-71) there used to be a few companies(TAO Productions, House of Milan, another I don't recall right now)that shot 8MM, then Super 8MM bondage reels that lasted 8 - 12 minutes, those occasionally had the same recognizable women. Those reels NEVER had nudity, or close to it, BTW.

Just got lucky & found this blurb online, for those interested:

Founded in the early 1970s, TAO Productions produced and distributed many of the classic bondage, discipline, fetish and erotic wrestling (through their Curtis DuPont subsidiary) "loops" (short movies), magazines and videos of the 1970s and 1980s. TAO featured porn/fetish stars like Serena, Rene Bond, Little Oral Annie (Annie Owens), Cynara, Porsche Lynn and Ashley, as well as wholesome girl next door types, "I love to be tied up" submissives, Mistresses, Dominant men and their victims. The women were bound and photographed by some of the great rope masters of their time; Bob Boneapart of detective magazine cover fame, John Savage, Bill Archer and Jim Holliday. With nearly 150 films and videos, along with hundreds of photospreads, TAO was one of the dominant forces in the fetish field of the Seventies.

El Rostro de la venganza
Another scene is coming up on this Spanish language soap, this time for Dayana Garroz. A little hard to pinpoint what episode it will occur as it seems the show might have been preempted a few times in Ecuador, I would guess the US airing on Telemundo will be a week from tonight. "El Rostro de la Venganza" airs at 9 pm CT on Telemundo.

Hmmm...I stopped watching this show a few weeks ago, kinda gave up on it. By "action" in last night's show, do you mean that there WAS a bondage scene in last night's episode, no matter how short?

Total time, or percentage of the show/movie? Some of the
soaps had scenes that went on for days, aggregate time
was substantial.

Re: VAN's FiCTiON & Beaty & the Beast comment
Oh Gosh no, Sorry to be unclear. When I mentioned action I meant anything not ~standing around talking about their feelings.~ There is a small amount of action in the show as in fights, shooting stuf getting blown up etc

OZ: The Great And Powerful
Handgag for Kunis when Franco's Oz first gets to Oz.

Also, towards the end of the film, Michelle Williams ends up chained up on the city steps of The Emerald Palace.

Whoever wrote that up is unquestionably one of us. Maybe that site aggregates from other blogs, or a DiD-devoted fan wrote it up purposely, but it's one of us. It's obvious from both the content in general and the terms used "a thick cleave-gag." Regardless, it's interesting that something with clear fetish intent ended up in some fashion being included on a non-fetish site.

Among movies. the Girl in the Basement has extended scenes, as does this:

Title: The Hidan of Maukbeiangjow (1973) aka Invasion of the Girl Snatchers
Medium: Movie
Actress: Ellen Tripp, Ruth Horn, Elizabeth Rush

Description: Incredibly cheesy '70's flick with more bondage than any other mainstream movie I have seen. One woman in a red sweater is taken from a van with hands and feet bound and tape-gagged. Another woman is kidnapped and bound and gagged with tape while she is being held in a motel room. Left to herself she hops around the room trying to escape but does not succeed. Finally a woman is held in a room bound but not gagged where she converses with a man who is also bound (Yuk!) She has the camera on her for about twenty minutes with her hands tied behind her back. There is also a scene of her running away with her hands tied behind her. I think she is caught after running away. I know this sounds like a bondage video but it really is a mainstream movie, and I think still available on video.

Attractive heroine Elizabeth Rush spends most of her time on-screen (which is considerable) hogtied. Toward the end of the movie, her feet are untied and she is seen running (and even firing a gun!) with her hands still tied behind her back. Twice she gets leg cramps while hogtied and goes to the bathroom while still tied -- the movie thus dealing with those true-to-life situations that a girl in long bondage would face.

How do you know this? Movies not out until March 8th...

As was reported earlier the scene was only slightly longer than what was seen in the trailer. ABC leaked the episode online before it aired on tv so most have probably seen it online and with the info above no real buzz to report.

In that new sparks flick, houghs character gets stalked by an ex. Fat chance I know, but does anything come from it? Even just a handgag?
