| Easy enough to get excited about fake trailers when they are well put together have done so myself a few times. Sam Jackson without his eye-patch etc does give it away. Still the gist of the post is solid enough - there may be something for Hailee if we're lucky |

| 1. The Heroine is chloroformed, Even better when she knows it's coming and is helpless to prevent it even after a struggle. Bonus if she uses the word Chloroform, especially with a British Accent. 2. A nicely dressed heroine. Whether it be a Superhero costume or a nice dress and heels, or a catsuit. Losing her high heels and revealing her stocking clad feet is a huge bonus. 3. The Heroine frees herself, and remains calm and even mocks her captor causing them to lose them temper and makaing a mistake which aids in her escape 4. A failed escape attempt that results in either another chloroforming or more bondage. |

A failed escape attempt that results in either > another chloroforming or more bondage. ~~~~ I'm guessing that "The Collector" (1965) became one of your favorite scenes, especially the scene where on the evening that Miranda (Samantha Eggar) thinks that Freddy agreed he'd free her and wearing the form-flattering white evening dress, she realizes he doesn't intend on honoring the agreement and flees the dining room. As she Freddy picks up a cloth and pours from his chloroform bottle, she knows what's upcoming and tries to fend him off with a sharp instrument but is overpowered and chloroformed again. |

| "I'm guessing that "The Collector" (1965)" Very perceptive, J.T. The Collector was the movie that got me into the Damsel in Distress genre. Miranda (Samantha Eggar) also does explore her cellar prison in her stocking clad feet after coming to from the chloroform for the first time. Later in the movie she, with her hands tied behind her back, asks not to be chloroformed again. Other scenes with some of these elements 1. Marcia Cross in Melrose Place "Hook, Line, and Hayley" Kimberly finds herself tied spread eagle in bed wearing only a black slip. She mocks and provokes her captor into freeing one leg, allowing her to kick him unconscious and grab his switchblade with her toes to cut herself free. 2. Wonder Woman Fausta with Lynda Carter not only for it's perfect chloroform scene, but her provoking Col. Kesselman to accidentally returning her belt out of frustation with the truth. 3. Lindsay Wagner in The Bionic Woman "The Over The Hill Spy". Wearing a lovely dress and heels her her hair up and so elegant, she's chloroform is a quick but sexy scene where her moan made it perfect. She wakes up tied up on the couch and is given a lecture on how effective chloroform is. |
