I tried to limit myself to one answer but I can't. 1) Long-term captivity, where the captor has to deal with things like feeding the hostage, potty breaks, etc. And the victim has to deal with things like sleeping while gagged. 2) Lighthearted scenes in comedies or kid's shows where somebody gets bound and gagged and it's no big deal, just a goofy inconvenience. 3) "Mob scenes" where a whole bunch of people are bound and gagged together. 4) Interactions between gagged and un-gagged people where they have to try to communicate. That one brief scene in Emergency!("Understanding") where the EMTs interview bank robbery hostages and are asking them if they can breath through the tape and they reply with nods, the scene in Misfits (4.01-4.02) where the captor has the gagged girl's hands just loose enough to use a speak-and-spell. 5) Old-school classic damsel in distress scenes from '70s & '80s soap operas. This stuff is the gold standard in every way. |

Is a very good film despite having nothing to interest us. Starts off very promisingly with Sofia Vassilieva(as cute as ever)being chased in her car a la Big Sky. She pulls into a deserted locked gas station and flees on foot into the desert. Before pursuing her the villain grabs his kit bag full of rolls of duct tape etc. She flags down a semi and escapes before he can catch her. So what might have been. Still well worth a watch though |
Monday February 22 06:42:14 2021 Re: Emma Stone as Cruella |
From what we can see of that picture of Emma bound amidst the flames the actual cleave gag she sports will be way better than any fake manipulation. It looks to be a decent width tied tightly between her teeth forcing her mouth open nicely and bulging her cheeks in classic style. Closeup shots will be sublime - these images can't come quickly enough! |
Monday February 22 07:08:36 2021 Re: Emma Stone as Cruella |
Only chance I thought Emma Stone had of receiving The Full was if Yorgos Lanthimos cast her in another of his pictures - one of his original screenplays this time in which he has a habit of including female bondage scenes. Never ever thought it'd be in a Disney film of all things where technically she's playing the villain. Serendipity Folks. And it will be worth the wait I am fairly certain :) |

On February 22 2021 Tito wrote: > For those of you who are looking forward to seeing Emma > Stone gagged in Cruella as much as I am, here's a preview > of what we might see: So.... are we even sure it is Emma Stone ?? Because in the trailer, we see the brief shot of someone in the middle of the fire who looks very like Cruella, and we see it through a lift fence... Pretty sure its a lift fence, because on the next shot we see Emma Stone closing that allegedly same lift fence. And on the brief fire shot, the camera goes downways as if a lift is starting to go down.... So, if this theory could be acceptable, not so sure its Emma Stone sitting on the chair in the fire, if she s the one closing herself the lift fence... |
Monday February 22 10:32:15 2021 Re: Emma Stone as Cruella |
Was thinking it may not be her either, given that hairstyle is everywhere at that party you see shots of. Or she could be setting somebody else up or faking her own death. It doesn't look like Emma Thompson either happily at least - the face looks younger. Still the last shot of her looking very dishevelled and tear-stained indicates it "could" be her after she escapes the fire. Closer pictures will clarify. If it isn't her that will totally suck and be one of the biggest DiD letdowns of all time. |

Yes, it's Emma looking at the dress she has at the end of the trailer, when she says, "call me Cruella." It's the same one you have at the scene of the fire. I'm pretty sure it's her, apart from the scene at the end she is seen with her face full of soot |
Monday February 22 10:33:56 2021 Trying to think of a blink and you miss it scene. |
I’m going to describe an extremely brief scene, it might not be enough to figure out what it is but I have to try. Pretty sure it takes place in a hotel room, or a room that looks like it’s in a hotel. The camera pans from right to left and as it does there’s a woman tied (quite well, if I remember) to a chair and giving some good struggling. She’s gagged too it lasts like a second but it’s a good second, and I think there was a pretty good behind the scenes shot as well |

I'm looking for some scenes where the damsel really struggles or tries hard to work her way out of her ropes. Any suggestions/links? Thanks. |

Let's curb the speculation until there is more information. As always, you should prepare yourselves for the possibility that there won't be much more than the promo. |

The character of Ciara (played by gorgeous Victoria Konefal) was supposedly killed in a car accident, but in fact she's being kept in a plexiglass cage in a basement by some dude who wants revenge on her. Seems unlikely to produce a scene but worth keeping an eye on, especially if the captor has to transport her somewhere. Also on DOOL, the character Claire (played by the super-pretty Isabel Durant) is currently trying to entrap a rapist into confessing to his crimes while she secretly records him on her cell phone. As the scene progresses over the next day or two, the plan could backfire. Note that the criminal/rapist here was the one who tied up and gagged his own mother a few weeks ago. So, no promises, but both situations are worth keeping tabs on. |

Low budget spy thriller where the main actress Valene Kane is gagged with duct tape and ziptied hands in front while in a car trunk. Scene is dark but the gag is clearly visible. She does some nice mmphing which gets the attention of a cop and leads to her being freed. (There are a few drops of blood on the gag in case you're turned off by such things.) Interestingly, this is a MarVista production from 2017 that found its way onto Tubi. I wonder if there are a bunch of such TV movies that weren't carried on Lifetime that are now being dumped on free streaming apps. Could be there are more unknown scenes to be discovered. |

So I'm guessing his plot to claim Tamara's character was insane worked since he's walking free. Gotta love these soap storylines. Whoever is writing these Days episodes must have been given an order, lets get back to 1980 and 1990 type storylines. Good for us this show has upped its Did game lately. |

Monday February 22 18:54:38 2021 Corinna Laszlo (Natural Born Killers) Interview |
Looking for a newspaper interview that Corinna Laszlo did in a New Mexico newspaper back in the later 90s (IIRC) where she talked about her scene in Natural Born Killers. I can't seem to find it anywhere, I remember finding it archived online somewhere and surely it's still around. It was an interesting interview from my memory and some neat information in it was discussed (like how it was actually the very first scene filmed in NBK and how Laszlo had no real aspirations of being an actress). |

On February 21 2021 Wh wrote: > What are you favourite kind of scene ? Heh... a bunch of scenarios. The woman bound, trying to escape, and getting caught, like Marilyn Burns in "Eaten Alive." The woman struggling to attract attention because one or more rescuers are nearby. (Ms. Burns in the aforementioned film nearly demolishing the bed she's tied to before attracting help. Or even better, an attempt that fails, like Pat Priest in "Incredible 2-Headed Transplant" squirming over and finally knocking over a tray of instruments just as the door closes behind a sheriff.) The damsel helpless to keep possible saviors from leaving, as when Phyllis Coates, on the floor of a car with a gun pointing at her, has to listen as a patrol car stops and then drives away after a conversation in the Superman episode "Mystery of the Broken Statues." The actress surrounded by people who don't care about her plight, like Adrienne Barbeau tied to a chair while a festive meal is being enjoyed by villains and their female escorts in "Swamp Thing." Other stuff too, but those immediately come to mind. |
