| Seeing this entry prompted me to find and view my recording and offer some additional details-
quote:- "Kidnapped in order to restage the quiz, there is at least ........ think that she is dressed in a school uniform at one point." suggest- She is kidnapped in order to re-stage the quiz, the place of her twin sister (the brothers had been imprisoned for her murder) is taken by their male therapist who was used as a hostage during their escape. At 10 minutes, Cathy, in her Police uniform, is lured into the Taxi that they are driving, a sports bag is placed over her head and later she is shut in the boot (trunk) but not restrained at this stage. They had visited a fancy dress shop and bought School Uniforms for the Quiz re-enactment and the next time we see her (at about 12 minutes) she is seated in the back of the Taxi in the School Uniform of yellow T shirt, purple skirt and black hat. She has her wrists tied in front and is gagged with a white cloth over her mouth. The same is a bit loose. At one point she has no difficulty in gently pulling her gag down in order to try and reason with one of her captors. (The male therapist is in a matching uniform, with a wig and tape gagged with a mouth drawn on the gag to take the place of her twin sister). At 16 minutes they have tracked down the retired Quiz Master (who has become a transvestite) and they are seen seated around a tea table making arrangements for the Quiz. The 'twin girls' are still tied hands in front and gagged. At 16 and 18 minutes Cathy is seen again gagged in the taxi. From 22 minutes to the end of the 30 minute programme the Quiz is replayed on the flat roof of a building, surrounded by Police who are kept at bay because one of the brothers is wired as a human bomb. Her gag is removed at 26 minutes so she is able to answer question and there is another scene with her hands still tied in front. She is untied at 28 minutes after the brothers are allowed to win. The scenes are of reasonable length and well lit, with brief but decent head/facial close-up shots. |
