| Stepfanie poses undercover as a model to investigate a pornography photographer whose models have been turning up dead. Against the advice of Hunter, she chooses to go undercover without wearing a wire, and is subsequently captured while snooping around the studio. She is handgagged by her captor who races off with her in his van while Hunter gives chase to no avail. In the van we see that she is tied with her hands behind her back and her ankles are bound together. She is wearing a flowery blouse, tight pants, stockings and high-heeled sandles. Once taken to his studio, Ms Kramer is tied upperspread eagled to the bed. Her ankles are bound together but her sandles have been removed and she is in her barefeet. Some good pleading with her captor until Hunter comes in to make the save at the end of the episode.

This German movie is a witch hunting and torture cult classic. At the time of its original release the marketing campaign called it the most horrifying film ever made, said to be a “V” movie for violence and people that went to the movie theater were given “vomit bags” for those that got sick watching the gore. At minute 6 there is an unusual dual witch burning. Two young women (unknown) are tied with their arms over their heads standing face to face on wooden ladders. A fire is light up in-between them. The ladders are then tilted and the women are suspended, since their legs are not secured. As the fire catches strength, the women are slowly lowered into the flames. Starting at minute 33, three accused women are brought in front of the judge (Herbert Loom). A blonde Fraulein is seen with her wrists in iron manacles, arms behind her back, then Jeni (Gaby Fuchs) is brought with her arms held by chains around her torso. Her hands are bloodied from torture. He orders to continue the torture since she refuses to confess to witchcraft. Then Vanessa (Olivera Vuco) comes in held by two guards. Her wrists are locked in an iron belt which goes around her buttocks. She struggles to no avail. From minute 39 to minute 65 Ms. Fuchs endures one of the longest torture sequences ever inflicted on a sweet defenseless girl. First she is seen lying on her back on a horse rack. There is a chain running across her chest and beneath her armpits to hold her firmly against the board. Her ankles are tied with chains and her wrists are held by iron manacles to her sides. She has her cute little thumb crushed with an instrument of torture. At minute 43 she is on a modified horse rack torture. Her hands are tied behind her back and her head is in a wood pillory. Her ankles are tied with rope to the spinning wheel that is turned by the tormentor. She is naked from her waist up. As if the stretching was not enough, hot irons are applied to her soles. Her face, contorting in pain, is shown in several close ups. Since Jeni does not provide a full confession she is then sit on a chair and an iron frame is placed on her upper body. The device rest on her shoulders, has an iron ring that holds her head still and a chest frame with iron rings and chains to which her wrists are secured. The most famous scene of the movie follows when Jeni has a mouth opener inserted in her lower maxilla and secure to her body harness. Then using iron prongs the executioner rips off her tongue! (In the DVD extras, Ms. Fuchs explains that a calf’s tongue was put inside her mouth for this scene) She is finally put to death on the fire. At minute 61 she is seen in a horizontal suspension, facing down to the flames. Her wrists and ankles are tied with rope to a wood frame. She is slowly lowered to her death. Jeni, by now suffers in silence, longing for death. A final scene involves lovely Ingeborg Schöner who plays the part of the puppeteer’s wife. They are accused of witchcraft and thrown to jail with her son and daughter. The husband is driven insane by the water drip torture and she is condemned to the ax. She is saved by the revolt of the town’s people. At minute 90 she is seen with her wrists held by iron cuffs behind her back. She goes back to the castle to search for her family. She is seen going from cell to cell in her cuffs and finally she is embraced by them while wearing her cuffs. |
