| I have just written an entry for a French TV movie I believed to be missing in the DB. Before entering it, I noticed I had made a mistake in my search and found an existing entry. I was prepared to trash my work, but when I read the entry, I found it confusing and though probably well-meant, beside the point and in the end, just wrong (there was no gag).
Since I don't want to dismiss another person's work completely without consulting a third party, here's the existing DB entry: Record number: 8781 Title: Les 7 vies du docteur Laux (2000) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Sophie Broustal Description: Dr laux get alert that ill man who lives in flat on Victor Hugo Street in Paris wants help. When she goest to this house she discover that this flat is empty nobody lives no furniture. She hears phone ring. She hears that seven people will die soon only she can help them. If she tell about this police or escape from Paris she or her family will be killed. scene we see as she prepare hairs before mirror in bath. Henchman comes from her back she starts screaming but her scream are stopped by dusk mask.end of scene We see her gagged in her captor flat. and what I have written: In this French made-for-TV thriller young Doctor Sophie Laux from the emergency ward faces a serial killer who plans for her to be his seventh and final victim (hence the title "The Seven Lives of Doctor Laux"). Accordingly, about five to ten minutes before the end, Sophie is chloroformed in a short scene. She awakes tied to a high-backed wooden kitchen chair, her hands fastened behind the chair back, some strands of the thick rope around her upper body. After the usual explaining-his-motives sequence the villain tries to give her a lethal injection in the neck, but Sophie throws herself with the chair across the floor, breaks the chair and frees herself from the bonds before the killer comes after her. Would like to dump the original entry. |
