Tuesday January 03 14:53:56 2006 "The Invisible Man"(1958-) British TV Series |
Title: The Invisible Man (1958) Record number: 3472 Title: The Invisible Man (1958) Medium: TV Series Actress: Unknown Description: Episode: "The Vanishing Evidence" (2.3) Late 50s British series. MI-5 sends the Invisible Man to Holland to track down an international spy/murderer who stole vital documents. A good looking damsel (Possibly Sarah Lawson?) gets bound and gagged. Hi There, Either there are three eps from this series with DiD scenes, one of which I have never seen,I have "Death cell" and "The White Rabbit" but not to hand, or the rather minimalist Record Number 3472 is way wrong. Record number: 2993 Episode: "Death Cell" (2.2)is fine. A few weeks back Major John posted a clip from this series on his cracking site. This clip was DEFINITELY from the episode entitled "The White Rabbit" which is not in the database. The two villains are DEFINITELY Paul Daneman(smoothy) and Arnold Diamond(professor). The DiD is DEFINITELY Marla Landi(daughter of professor bumped off earlier I think).Every ep guide lists them as as guest starring in "The White Rabbit". I can't swear that there is not a third scene in "The Vanishing Evidence" (2.3), but I cannot for the life of me recall one immediately following the "Death Cell" ep.What make me think that Record Number 3472 is way wrong is the mention of Holland. I seem to recall that "The White Rabbit" was set in Holland, while "The Vanishing Evidence " was set at home in Britain. If you look at the respective cast lists in the ep guides you will note that all the character names in "The Vanishing Evidence" are British, while those in "The White rabbit" are European...? |

Ref: After notes review, there are more than 2. Back during the 3000 entries there wasn't much references posted, even though entering off collector tapes. Brian was planning to delete them after the correction made: "Blonde, tied to a chair hands behind. Invisible man beats up villian in the room with her. Villians outside the room comment "What's going on in there? She's tied up?" etc etc." There was never a cap to get an idea of ID'ing, ensuring Invisible Man series, etc. It was suspected that the scene was gag-free, so wasn't kept by any of our wizards at the time. This something I have to work on. |
