| The full name of the actress is Rebecca Brooke, billed here as Mary Mendum.
Highly regarded an adult S&M movie based on the novel by Jean de Berg. Jean (Carl Parker) discovers that Anne (Mundum) loves to be humiliated by her mistress, Claire (Marilyn Roberts). Minute 25: Jean learns about Anne’s submissiveness when Claire shows him a series of photographs. We see black and white photographs of Anne in bondage. Jean is narrating the events and he describes the images in detail. First she is naked kneeling on a check board floor, her wrists are bound with a shiny chain which are seen in detail in a close up. She is then seen with her arms spread above her head, in chains. She remains kneeling with her ankles are crossed also bound with chains. Jean ponders how uncomfortable she must be. Anne has a jewel studded blindfold. Three other photos show the marks of the lash on her milky white skin. Minute 28; Anne is told to go to a closet and select a whip. She kneels in front of Jean and strips naked except for her garter belt and white hoses. She is told to keep her arms raise above her head at all times. She is then tied with leather cuffs to the arms of the chair where Jean is sitting. Claire whips her from behind. Anne kisses Jean while she is being whipped and then she pleases him with her mouth (a graphic scene). Minutes 63-86: In the DVD chapter entitled “The gothic chamber” Anne is seen bound and tormented for nearly 25 minutes. She is naked except for two blue band garters on each thigh. Her wrists are locked in iron manacles to a black candelabrum in the ceiling. Her arms are spread, and she is wearing the same blindfold seen in the photographs. Claire puts a bit rubber gag and proceeds to prick her with needles. Anne screams frantically through her gag. Jean then whips her hard and we see close ups of her face biting on the gag as he delivers the blows. Overall an erotic artsy collage of rapid images of Anne’s body contorting and her facial expressions of pain with her blonde hair shown in slow-mo as the whips strikes. She is finally release from the candelabrum, falls on her back and Jean kisses her still wearing her gag. She embraces him with her arms still in chains and they make love. |
