Thanks, this is one more scene I didn't find when researching this novela a year ago. Here is the link at YT:

Yes, but not the best quality. I hope it works.

OK, I've been thinking more about this, and I think there's potential here.

First problem is that I think scenes and clips really need to be in two separate tables. A scene can have more than one clip, but every clip will encompass only one scene. Your classic one:many relationship.

I also am thinking we should rework a little bit the fields we track. I think the goal should be to empirically document the female bondage trope in popular audiovisual entertainment. As such I might recommend some minor changes in your nomenclature. "Putz", for instance, is an implicitly judgmental word, and doing a global search-and-replace to change the word to "male" would better represent the stated goal. I've also added a field for "gag", less out of any personal bias than out of the observation that such things are common enough that they really do deserve their own column. I could probably easily enough finesse the data to put the "gag" info in its own column. Comma delimiters are useful.

Limitations: Brian has done an excellent job in establishing the limitations of the project, and I think they're worth maintaining. For instance, since this is entirely about media representations, any demographic data about the actresses involved except for name and gender should be considered outside of the project scope.

Here's a little simple sample of the sort of things I'm talking about. Only one entry on each sheet. Let me know any feedback you have. Also let me know how easy it would be for you to get a complete list of download links for the stuff you've uploaded for insertion onto the "Clips" sheet.

Yeah, this is great. Along those lines, I'm thinking that my clip titles might not really belong in the scene table at all, but only in the clip table. (For one thing, they were designed to fit into 32 characters, so there's a lot of abbreviation and a certain amount of inconsistency.) However, it might still be useful to have a field (other than the scene ID) to link the two tables, one which would actually tell us something about the scene. Maybe a "canonical" scene title, e.g.

Batman-S01E29-TheBookwormTurns

which also could (but wouldn't need to be) used by clippers as the first part of their filename. (This one's not very different from my filename, but the key thing is that it would always contain the FULL series and episode titles as listed in the IMDb, along with the episode number.)

True, we'd actually need to go through and create all of these, but it wouldn't need to be done all at once.

Sounds good on both counts. Could probably eliminate some redundancy by stripping out "gag" and just saying "OTM" once it's in its own field.

> Let me know any feedback you have.

The only other thing I'd suggest for the moment is to eliminate the "Best Quality Version?" field. If by "best" we just mean "highest resolution," it might be viable, but folks should be able to figure that out easily enough themselves. (And I think that's all we COULD mean, since things like the quality of the edit are obviously highly subjective.) As David Letterman used to say, "Remember, this is not a competition, it is only an exhibition." :)

Good question. I've only spent a few minutes checking, but as far as I can tell, MediaFire doesn't give me any efficient way (like a spreadsheet export) to do this. (Pretty sure this is one of the main ways they discourage the use of their site as a large-scale host for third-party sites.) But I think it would be sufficient just to use my filename in the entry for my clip, and trust that people could locate the file themselves within the root directory.

Thanks! Currently chilling in Lake Tahoe. It's pretty.
