Record number: 10813 Title: La Vergine di Norimberga (1963) aka The Virgin of Nuremberg aka Back to the Killer aka Castle of Medium: Movie Actress: Rossana Podestá, Luciana Milone Description: Italian horror movie with two scenes. At about the 1:20 hour mark a woman (Luciana Milone)is captured by the deranged master of a gothic castle and taken to the torture chamber. She is seen in a chair with her hands behind. A rat cage is afixed to her face so the rat starts chewing her face. Mary (Rossana Podestá)saves her life but the rat gets to chew off part of her nostril. We get to see ropes around the woman's wrist when Mary unties her. Later, at the climax of the movie, the psycho captures Mary and ties her hands behind her back. He then carries her and puts her inside the iron maiden (The "virgin" of the movie title). There is a leather thong holding her neck to the maiden. Lots of screaming and wide eyes as the iron maiden begins to close. Of course she gets saved just in time. |
