Record number: 1478 Title: Angel (1999) Medium: TV Series Actress: Charisma Carpenter Description: Episode: "Parting Gifts" (1.10) In Charisma Carpenter's long awaited debut to being bound and gagged, at the 35 minute mark of the episode she is attacked by a demon she thought was harmless. He throws her on a table and ties her hands behind her with cord. After she gets up she kicks him and runs her hands tied behind her back. The demon catches her and punches her. When she wakes up she's on her side on a bed, tied with rope and cleave-gagged with a white cloth. She strains as she looks around at her predicament, and closes her eyes as the demon and his assistant enter the room. She is next seen being brought into an auction room bound with her hands behind her and cleave-gagged with the white cloth. The demon's assistant takes her gag off and she is auctioned off while standing in front of a group with her hands still tied behind her. She is next seen after the auction again cleave-gagged with the white cloth and with her hands tied behind her. She makes a lot of faces as she hears them talking about removing her eyes. The demon's assistant moves in with a menacing tool to remove her eyes, as she sits still bound and gagged in a chair, and Angel and his lackey break in. A fight ensues as Charisma watches. Angel's lackey, during the fight, come to her aid and asks if she's OK. Sheshakes her head and he lowers her gag and cuts her well tied hands loose. During her DiD scene Charisma does a good job of making various facial expressions indicating fear, rolls her eyes at times, strains against her gag at times, and mmphs a little. A great must-see scene. |

Record number: 3676 Title: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Medium: TV Series Actress: Charisma Carpenter Description: Episode: "Some Assembly Required" (2.2) Two of the high school's science guys are working on a variant of the old reanimation scheme - used in many movies. They have been stealing body parts from newly-buried teen girls and are putting them together to produce a suitable mate for an undead guy, the brother of one of them. Cordelia (Carpenter) has just the right face so they manage to capture her in the bleachers during a ball game - suitably dressed in a cheerleader's outfit, which looks good on Cordie. Next thing she wakes up in a disused science lab, having just been strapped down on a gurney and blindfolded. When she persuades her captors to take off the blindfold she screams mightily at what she sees - the disfigured face of her intended husband. The operation is about to proceed (which involves severing her head!) when, wouldn't you know, that annoying Vampire Slayer arrives. During the fight that ensues a fire breaks out and there is a lot of struggling on Cordie's part as she looks like being consumed. She is, of course, saved to continue on her vain way. Additional note: a few minutes before this scene, the same 2 bad guys attempt to capture Cordie in the locker room before the aforementioned ball game. One of them surprises her from behind by covering her head with what looks like a pillowcase, then drags her to the floor screaming & whimpering. Whilst he tries to tie her hands behind her back with white rope, we're treated to a VERY sexy upskirt shot of Cordie's panties. Before he can finish tying her hands, however, Buffy intervenes to ward him off with an ass-kicking. That sequence lasts about 20secs. |

Record number: 11837 Title: The Big White (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Holly Hunter Description: I can't say when these scenes occur in the film or how widely they are spaced, since this summary is based on a compilation DVD, but this is an unexpectedly cool find. (And it may even be a good movie in its own right, based on the comparisons I'm seeing to "Fargo," which did indeed spring to mind when I first saw the clip.) Wearing pajamas, Margaret (Hunter) gets captured at gunpoint, and is next seen tied to a chair with bungee cords and duct tape. Then, she's been gagged with duct tape, then cleave-gagged with a white cloth, then ungagged, then regagged (and handgagged) onscreen. Next, she's on a bed with her ankles and knees tied together with duct tape. Similarly for her elbows, wrists, and hands, which are all taped in front. She manages to grab a phone with her feet, work the gag off, and dial the phone with the aid of a digital thermometer which she holds in her mouth. Finally, she's reunited with her husband (Robin Williams), after a couple shots of her cleave-gagged again (though apparently unbound) in the back of a car. My edited clip is a solid two minutes long, which isn't bad. |

Record number: 4967 Title: Farscape Medium: TV Series Actress: Virginia Hey Description: Episode: "Dream A Little Dream" (2.8) The character of Zhaan (Virginia Hey) is accused of murder on the planet of Litigara and she is defended by Rygel and Chiana (well, they are doing their best, and in the end manage to save her). At one point she tries to plead guilty so Chiana asks the judge to gag her, which is done - with tape. Later, when she is facing execution she is seen in a arms-at-the-sides straight-jacket affair, canvas with straps over the top. |
