Not to worry, kids, ol' Jim is a crack shot. Fairly lengthy scene. |

Record number: 12785 Title: Next (2007) Medium: Movie Actress: Jessica Biel Description: Playing the love interest of precognitive hero Nic Cage, Biel (a brunette in this film) is kidnapped at gunpoint. A bit later, she's shown being lifted from a van. She's in a wheelchair, with her hands tied behind and her legs tied to opposite sides of the chair. (This is shown explicitly only in a couple brief shots.) She wears a pink shirt and blue jeans and is gagged with a long strip of duct tape. Cage saves the day and prevents the explosives strapped to her chest from fulfilling their intended purpose. I haven't seen the whole film and can't say when it occurs, but it's a medium-length scene with a couple excellent closeups. |

Record number: 13001 Title: Robin Hood (2006) Medium: TV Series Actress: Sara Stewart Description: Episode: "Sisterhood" (2.1) In the first episode of the second series a peasant woman is tied to a post in the centre of the town as a punishment for her children’s crimes (strictly speaking this is a ruse and the woman is the sheriff’s sister heavily disguised but that is not revealed until after she has been freed so is not overly relevant to us). She has dark hair and is wearing a simple one-piece full-length wool dress. There are a few scabs around her mouth. Her wrists are tied behind her, around back of the pole with a single length of coarse rope, handcuff style leaving a slight gap between the wrists. Robin approaches her and gets her to tell him why she is being punished and there is a brief close up of her bonds as he forces a gold coin into her hand. After Robin departs the sheriff and his men enter, The sheriff says his men have been too lenient and that it is the children who should be punished not the mother. His men prepare to cut off the childrens’ hands in front of her but Robin intervenes at the last moment disarming the guards and cutting the woman’s bonds with his arrows. There’s another brief close up as the arrow severs the rope midway between the two cuffs Action occurs roughly 10-20 minutes into the episode |

Files (1999) Medium: TV Series Actress: Unknown Description: Episode: "Driven to Kill" Right at the beginning, a blonde girl wearing a dog leash is seen trying to stop cars for help. She is taking to the police department and she describes her ordeal. She describes that she was chained and gagged (neither is shown) in a semi cab. There is a scene that is shown where she is sitting in a bed with her hands chained up in the air. At around 39 minutes, cop arrives to tell trucker to move is rig. He find a woman with her hands cuffed to the wall at her head and her feet cuffed to the other wall of the sleeper cab. She is struggling and screaming for the cop to help her. At the 43 minute mark, we see another victim that has her hands chained the same as the first one. |

Record number: 4134 Title: House of 1000 Corpses (2002) Medium: Movie Actress: Jennifer Jostyn, Erin Daniels, Unknown Description: There is a lot of bondage in this horror movie, though all of the dark, bloody, grizzly variety. There are several very quick shots, beginning about 22 minutes in, of five cheerleaders-played by actresses whose names didn't make the credits-tied somewhat lamely (although it appears at least a couple of them may be wrapped in chains) and cleave-gagged wearing their shredded, dirty uniforms. These would probably make better vidcaps than scenes as they're each only a few seconds long. At about 42 minutes, Jostyn's shown sitting wearing a "Dunce" cap (it's even labled as such), tied with her hands behind her in a chair (the hands are shown briefly) and cleave-gagged while a psycho harrasses her. She does a nice job whimpering, too. Halfway through he takes her gag off. This scene lasts a few minutes. Her face and nose is bloody during this, though. Then at about 50 minutes, Daniels awakens to find herself tied to a bed in an upper-half spreadeagle, ungagged, dressed as a schoolgirl in a short gray outfit with white knee socks and Mary Janes. She, too, whimpers and begs a second psycho to let her go, which he does-only to give Psycho No. 1 a chance to grab her and shove her into a cage. A couple of minutes after that, the nude body of one of the cheerleaders is found in the trunk of the protagonists' abandoned car, ungagged and loosely hogtied in front with words cut into her skin. Another five minutes brings an ultimately unsuccessful rescue attempt, with the cops finding one of the lead girls (apparently Jostyn; she and Daniels strongly resemble one another, and it's hard to tell them apart when only one is on camera, especially this late in the movie when their clothing and hairstyles have changed) standing chained in a standing upper-half spreadeagle, but ungagged, with words cut into her skin. The bodies of several of the other cheerleaders abducted earlier appear bound in the background In the movie's ending sequence a few minutes later, Jostyn, Daniels, and the surviving male protagonist are shown dressed in rabbit outfits (don't ask), tied standing in a group and cleave-gagged. They are then led outside while still in the rabbit outfits with their hands tied lamely in front and still cleave-gagged. Jostyn escapes and comes to a bad end, but Daniels and the guy end up being shoved alive into a coffin and lowered into an abandoned well from which Daniels manages to escape. |
