Her hands are tied over her head with duct tape, her ankles and knees are taped together, and she's tape gagged. Later, she's tied up in a tub that's filling with water. She's bound with rope, hands behind back, rope around body, ankles to the faucet, still duct tape gagged. Her shoes have been removed and her stocking feet in grey hose are tied to the faucet. There are good shots of feet. When she's rescued and the tape gag is removed, the guy pulled out packing from her mouth. |

Record number: 12785 Title: Next (2007) Medium: Movie Actress: Jessica Biel Description: Playing the love interest of precognitive hero Nic Cage, Biel (a brunette in this film) is kidnapped at gunpoint. A bit later, she's shown being lifted from a van. She's in a wheelchair, with her hands tied behind and her legs tied to opposite sides of the chair. (This is shown explicitly only in a couple brief shots.) She wears a pink shirt and blue jeans and is gagged with a long strip of duct tape. Cage saves the day and prevents the explosives strapped to her chest from fulfilling their intended purpose. I haven't seen the whole film and can't say when it occurs, but it's a medium-length scene with a couple excellent closeups. |

Record number: 1953 Title: Pony Soldier (1952) Medium: Movie Actress: Penny Edwards Description: Emerald Neeley (Ms. Edwards) is captured by Crees, along with a man. Around the 25' mark (in the AMC airing I saw), she's shown being freed by hero Tyrone Power. She's inside a tent at the camp. The scene is very brief. She's bitgagged, and Power is just cutting her wrist bonds behind her back when the cut is made to the tent. She removes the gag, and that's pretty much it. Later, about 70' in, recalcitrant members of the Cree nation grab her again and whisk her off. We see her again bitgagged (appearing to be made of leather, secured by thongs or cords wrapped around the ends) and bound wrists behind. After a long march, they bind her ankles over her flowing skirt, and build a fire to immolate her. Power, a Cree chief, and a Cree boy save the day. This scene runs about six minutes. |
