Next time we see her, the gag is gone, and we now see that she is bound wrists over her head to some stairs, where she remains until the inevitable rescue. |

Record number: 12785 Title: Next (2007) Medium: Movie Actress: Jessica Biel Description: Playing the love interest of precognitive hero Nic Cage, Biel (a brunette in this film) is kidnapped at gunpoint. A bit later, she's shown being lifted from a van. She's in a wheelchair, with her hands tied behind and her legs tied to opposite sides of the chair. (This is shown explicitly only in a couple brief shots.) She wears a pink shirt and blue jeans and is gagged with a long strip of duct tape. Cage saves the day and prevents the explosives strapped to her chest from fulfilling their intended purpose. I haven't seen the whole film and can't say when it occurs, but it's a medium-length scene with a couple excellent closeups. |

Early in the episode there is a flash view of the burning scene. The sisters decide they have to project themselves forward in time to try to stop Phoebe's execution, for that is what it proves to be. It seems Phoebe has killed a man and the Government is making her an example. Seems like the fundamentalist Christians have finally taken over the USA and witchcraft is definitely a no-no. While Phoebe languishes in her cell (a leather collar around her neck) the execution time approaches. As Prue and Piper race to save Phoebe we get to see her in a high-tech execution scene. She is fettered, arms behind, with metal cuffs and chains and locked to a metal frame, to be consumed not by old-style burning faggots but by high temperature flame. Phoebe has a vision of being burned to death. Her arms tied behind back to a pole; no gag. Phoebe manages to free herself in time. |
