Record number: 2018 Title: The Professionals (1966) Medium: Movie Actress: Claudia Cardinale Description: In this Western set in the early 20th century, a Texas oilman hires four adventurers to rescue his wife, whom he claims has been kidnapped by a Mexican bandito. She, however, doesn't want to be rescued but since the adventurers are professionals, they're honor bound to complete the contract, no matter what the cost. About an hour and fifteen minutes in, they attack the bandito's camp and spirit her away into the night, Burt Lancaster lifting her over his shoulder into a railcar and then tying her hands behind her back. The scene then cuts to the next morning, where they rendezvous with a compatriot on a train that, unbeknownst to them, has been captured by the bandits. After another furious gunfight which follows Lancaster using Cardinale, her hands still bound, as a human shield, she's carried over his shoulder into the locomotive where she's tied standing to the side of the cab. A few minutes later she's shown on horseback with her hands tied in front for a couple of shots. She isn't gagged during any of the scenes. |

She's tightly cleave-gagged, her feet tied and wrists tied behind her back. It's a short scene, but there's at least some struggling and moaning. At about the 35 - 40 minute mark we see the feet, ankles and calves of Sigrid with the ankles tied separately to the front legs of a chair. Then we see Bruce Willis reacting to what he hears over the phone: gagged wimpering, a gunshot, followed by silence. Later in the movie, Sarah Jessica Parker is seated in a chair with her wrists cuffed behind her back. |

Record number: 4888 Title: The Lady Vanishes (1979) Medium: Movie Actress: Angela Lansbury, Cybill Shepherd Description: At 1 hour 18 minutes of a 2 hour 10 minute broadcast (with adverts) she is seen on a gurney covered by a grey blanket and held down by straps. When the blanket is removed her face appears to be completely bandaged apart from openings for eyes and nose, presumably so that she can be transported unrecognised. What appeared to be bandages was actually a mask and when it is lifted off she is seen to have a white OTM gag, which is immediately removed. When she gets off the stretcher she is seen to have been stripped to her slip as her clothes were taken to be used by one of the conspirators. In addition to Lansbury's scene, Cybill Shepherd receives a handgag midway through the film. She's wearing a silky long white gown and looks great. |
