Record number: 7392 Title: MacGyver Medium: TV Series Actress: Leslie Bevis Description: Episode: "Lost Love" Part 2 (3.2) Near the end, as MacGyver and Jack Dalton attempt to escape, they are caught by Tanya Lyaschenka (Bevis). Tanya holds them at gunpoint while she frisks them. She finds the necklace bomb on Jack and asks them what they intend to do with it. Jack asks her to try it on saying "it will look fabulous with what you're wearing". This pisses her off and she tries to slug him with her gun. Instead, MacGyver quickly grabs her and handgags her so as not to attract attention. Jack rushes to the helicopter as MacGyver drags Tanya to a nearby barn (?). She struggles furiously and mmmphs a lot. As Jack tries to start the helicopter Mac brings Tanya inside the barn and stuffs a cloth in her mouth. By the time Jack finally starts the engine, Mac has tied up Tanya and rushes to close the door of the barn. You will note that Mac didn't tie her up tightly. Later she is shown untied and ungagged while slamming her body on the door to open it. The necklace drops from her and in a funny way her accomplices decides to detonate it thinking MacGyver still has the necklace. |

Record number: 13521 Title: Don't Worry, We'll Think of a Title (1966) Medium: Movie Actress: January Jones Description: Bad spy spoof starring Morey Amsterdam, Rose Marie and Richard Deacon of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" which may still prove entertaining to those old enough to remember its era-or its cast, given that even they obviously didn't take it seriously. Jones, an attractive blonde with really nice legs in an even nicer period dress and heels, ends up about an hour and twenty minutes in tied rather sparsely but prettily to a chair, one rope running from her crossed ankles to the chair back, another around her midsection. She's also gagged with a rather thin fold of cloth, but manages to get in a few good mmphs regardless. She holds her hands behind her as if they're also tied, but they're never visible. There's another actress by the same name in the database, but it should be noted that they are obviously two different people, given that the films in which they appear were made nearly four decades apart. |

Versions of the film usually aired on British TV are the same, but the first cut I ever saw (also on TV) had a scene in which Redford started by saying, "I need your car." He proceeded to tie her up against her protestations, and just before he gagged her, she said, "This is not fair!" There were several almost-closeups of her face being gagged and struggling as Redford left. The order of scenes is also changed in subsequent versions; the original sequence made the narrative much clearer. |
