Re: Bionic Woman & a question for the group

Thank you for sharing this!

Was a big fan of Jamie Summers....but never saw this episode.

Please share any other similar-type scenes you may come across...including other retro shows you may watch.

My question to the group is:
Do these type of scenes exist in any of today's shows?

If so, I have not seen them.

Seems like 60's, 70's and some of the 80's shows did a much better job of inserting "cheesy" DID scenes.

Did you by any chance note which episodes were not in the DB? Someone here (i.e. me) might also have the DVDs and would be willing to make some caps.

An Amish Murder (Neve Campbel)
On Sunday, January 6th at 9:00 PM, An Amish Murder starring Neve Campbell will premiere on Lifetime and there's now a trailer that shows she's finally getting the full treatment. At one point she's briefly shown being chloroformed and then after that being dragged on the ground and with what looks like duct tape on or around her mouth and she's seen with her hands and feet tied.

I'll post the trailer on the video page. Great to see Neve is finally getting the full B&G treatment after evading it in the Scream films.

I added the following scenes to the db: All for One, episode 3.12, The African Connection, 3.6., Out of Body, 3.19, and Max, episode 3.10 (Neile Adams tied up, no Lindsay Wagner). Also fixed the description for Which One is Jaime? 3.18 (season 3 also the season of the already-in-the-db Over the Hill Spy 3.11 (Lindsay's only gag) and Rodeo 3.5. A busy time! Too bad it didn't go another season). Read all about them in the db. None of them involve gags, but different people appreciate different things.

Playing Hookey
Back in the days before VCRs, you had to catch a scene whenever you could. In many cases, after seeing a scene on a first-run prime time series, you had only one more chance to see it on the one and only re-run.

Catching that all-important re-run could be an event of great anticipation, to the point where other important activities had to be put on hold to do it.

In my case, the two most memorable examples were the Karen Jensen kidnapping on "Bracken's World" (ducked out of a good party for that one), and the Mary Louise Weller kidnapping on "Super Train" (skipped a graduate school class for it; cost me a letter grade; didn't feel I could explain it to the professor).

What are your examples of scenes that you had to see at the expense of things you should have been doing?

Just watched it, and it's almost like they're trying not to show her face in all the scenes. I can't see any duct tape on her mouth in any frames. Not saying she doesn't get it, but I couldn't see it. The dragging part may appear to have her gagged but not sure.

Something to wet your hunger.

These were the only two that showed her tied up.

Dead Season
Saw newish zombie horror film Dead Season over the holidays, which featured a FT scene for the lead actress, the rather cute Marissa Merrill. Shown hands behind and knotted cleave gagged about 20 mins into the film by her wouldbe rescuers.

Since it's a horror movie, she's covered in dirt and sweat, wearing a white top and jeans. There's one good close up on the gag, but the scene only lasts just over a minute or so. Unfortunately the male lead is also B&G and the director is far more interested in his distress, which brings things down abit. Nothing worth going out of your way to see, but it's a nice gag if nothing else.

5-Star General Hospital
Promo shows girl -- potentially ugly based on eyes -- with an OTM gag. Presumably this takes place in the back seat of a car.

No putzes -- even better.

There's a guy OTM gagged in a promo for next week. Black OTM. Might be what you saw, although a brunette cutie (not Monaco) is also supposedly in peril.

If you look very closely at the side of her face it looks like she has something silvery or gray around her mouth area.

Keri Russell series
New FOX series Jan. 30 stars Keri Russell as some type of spy called "The Americans."

Might be worth keeping an eye on.

Make that series on FX, not FOX.

Someone posted about this movie a few weeks ago and said that her character gets the full treatment, based upon the book. Another one that I'm really looking forward to. I always wanted her to get a scene in the Scream series

Was her scene described? I know her character gets a full scene in the book. I too can't wait to see it, she's been on my damsel wish list for ages.

Was posted here a while back. Hog-tied, tape-gag with stuffing.

So Undercover
Movie heading straight to DVD on Feb. 8.

Found this still on a fan page. Of course, I'm hoping she was just ungagged.

Oh, I thought you meant the scene had leaked, my bad. Either way, looks like Neve is definitely getting a scene and I'm pumped for it.
