Dan Vs. The Common Cold
In this animated show on The Hub, Paget Brester's animated character Elise is bound (Hands behind back, feet tied) and gagged OTM with what looks like a clothy duct tape that her husband Chris rips right off.

Not that I speak for everyone Mr. Moderator, but I think that the vast, vast majority here feel you do a fantastic job. This site wouldn't have lasted this long without your diligent moderation. Some of us realize that you have a page to run here, and if some feelings get hurt so be it.

"The Following" starts; scene(s) will follow
"The Following" starts tonight on FOX. Previews indicate there will be at least one scene during its first 15 episode run. I don't know which episode the scene(s) will be in; thus no specific mention on the Alerts page yet.
Warning to those with a more sensitive nature - given the nature of the show, the scene or scenes are likely to be dark and bloody, with an above average chance of "not ending well."

Topicality
As noted in the FAQs, topicality has always had some fluidity over the years. That comes as I see what things lead to useful discussion and which don't. So adjustments are made at times. However, the "age thing" is not in this class. I know many think I'm overly paranoid, but I don't care. I consider it a risk for the site as a whole. As such, it's simply NOT up for discussion.

If you don't like it, too bad. Complaining will not help. If it makes anyone feel better to express how I'm ruining their experience, feel free to do so. Again the FAQs discuss this.

Is it just me?

No. I'm the same way. Like em standing up, in a chair, couch, whatever, but I'm a snob and don't like the sideways angle.

Dredd
The woman who gets the tight (frontal) handgag in Dredd is Nicole Bailey. Pretty good scene as far as handgags go.

A Thousand Cuts
Judging by the DVD cover of this week's new release of "A Thousand Cuts", there appears to be a scene with a cleave gagged woman.

IMO you are 1,000,000 per cent right, & unfortuntely many posters - often of the youmger variety - either don't agree, or are unable to "see the the light."

Re: Topicality
The person who "innocently" brought it up may have actually been just asking an innocent question or it could have been someone getting their jollies by stirring up trouble (ie a Troll).
Anyone who thinks its unreasonable to bar discussion of ages (under ages to be precise)is just being shortsighted.

Actually, she says "I've done alot of horror films...in them I'm usually bound and gagged and covered with blood".
So, I guess this was not her first tie & gag scene in a horror movie. I am not familiar with any of her other movies....does anyone know of any other bondage scenes she has had in other fright flicks? ENTRANCE is the only one listed in the database

Surprise
Have there ever been scenes on tv shows that were surprises without anything from promos?

A pirated version of the film has been online for a while. I had a skim through it- bad film, even worse scene. It features the male lead character getting held hostage by a distraught man who thinks he's responsible for his daughter's death. As leverage, he kidnaps the lead's sister(played by Olesya Rulin. From what I saw, there's a blurry photo of Rulin cleave-gagged on a phone camera(her abduction is off-screen), and she's not seen again until her rescue. She has her hands in front, a laughably loose bandanna cleave gag, and the whole scene is about an 8th of a second long. As I said, I only had a skim through, but that seemed to be all there was. For completists only. The REAL kick in the teeth is that Rulin herself is an ultra-cutie. Heartbreaking. Still, if anyone else wants to have a more thorough look...

Zooey Deschanel's scene from New Girl a few weeks back immediately comes to mind, but i'm sure that there are hundreds of better examples out there.
