I just finished watching the movie and the scene while a bit of a letdown wasn't too bad IMO. The gag looked good enough in some of the shots but it really needed tighter application, looked too loose. I think a single tape strip would've worked much better. Keep your fingers crossed a series is spawned from the movie, there's endless possibilities for Neve to get a new and much better scene in an episode. It was at least nice to finally see her in peril. |

On a note relating to Neve, to anyone who's seen the film The Glass Man (which is out in the UK), did she get a scene in there? I'm sure it would've been mentioned by now if she did but I'm checking to be certain. It sounds like a film that had a possibility for a scene. |
Monday January 07 15:18:56 2013 Encore Action |
Just an fyi....Encore action channel has been digging deep into archives lately. I caught the Back in Business scene this morning getting ready for work. There have been other B rate action films with scenes on there lately. I am hoping for the chyna obrian films soon.... |

Monday January 07 15:49:19 2013 "The Following" should be followed |
They ran a couple minute teaser for the upcoming FOX series "The Following" after the NFL game yesterday afternoon/evening. There was a real quick shot of what I'm 95% sure was a woman in a chair, tapegagged. Since the series is about an FBI unit tracking down a serial killer and his disciples, and since the Big Baddie specializes in killing young women, there is obviously huge scene potential. (Unfortunately, most if not all of which are likely to be dark, bloody, and to have bad endings.) Anyway, it starts two weeks from tonight. Apologies if I missed someone reporting this before. |

I've always had sort of a soft spot for Holly Hunter's scene or scenes in "The Big White." First she gets tied into a chair with bungee cords. Later she's on a bed and taped at ankles, below the knees, wrists (in front, unfortunately), forearms, and with tape wrapped over her hands and fingers. Nice struggling on the bed, but I guess it's mostly the unusual bondages which made me like it. |

Yup, I rewound and paused the promo, it's a Latina woman, I believe, and she's tied with a ton of rope and the tape gag is tight....but it dosen't look good for her. |
Monday January 07 19:22:51 2013 Re: Neve Campbell |
I said this before, but there's a chance the movie might lead to a TV series if the ratings for it are high enough, and a series would definitely have more potential for Neve to get another and better scene. She's negotiating with Lifetime about a possible series at this moment according to recent interviews with her, so keep your fingers crossed the series gets greenlit and we get a much better scene for her. I don't think the other books in the Kate Burkholder series have any B&G scenes for the character but I'd imagine a TV series would have a lot of original scripts written for the episodes, hopefully at least one of which has a much better B&G sequence for Neve. |
