About a year before the scene, CBS offered an online video service for their shows, it was a PPU or monthly fee. But the soaps were on there. I did a free trial on the hope some soap scenes would pop and we'd get them in HQ. The video was excellent, but they dropped the service after a few months, and just before the Peyton List scene on ATWT. That also would have been handy since the Reagan death coverage pre-empted her scene on the east coast that day. Remember those days? When the news cut-ins happened during scenes and you couldn't get them back. |

| That Sophie Aldred scene on the video page got me thinking. What are some other scenes where the host of a tv show is tied up in her dressing room while someone else tries to take over? This also applies to musicians or anything else similar. Danielle Fishel on the dish is one that comes to mind. |

Thankfully, the writers didn't come up with this idea earlier. |

Record number: 3339 Title: Friday Night aka Friday Night Videos Medium: TV Series Actress: Rita Sever Description: Episode: Unknown A funny scene that gave a reason for the normal host's absence one week. A stagehand knocks on Rita's dressing room door asking if she's ready. Judd Nelson answers instead saying that he will be acting as the guest host today. The stagehand inquires about some muffled noises coming from the room and Judd explains them away. Then we see him open the closet where Rita sits tied to a chair and tightly cleave-gagged, making a furious attempt to speak or cry out. She is ungagged and then pleads with Judd for a moment. He then explains his desire to host the show and slips the gag back in her mouth. The door closes on her as she tries to protest again. Light-hearted but still fun. |

| A couple of images from the promo touting next week's 4-way superhero crossover. The first is Supergirl Melissa Benoist strapped to a bed, the second has the group, including Canary Caity Lotz and Alex (Chyler Leigh) facing a firing squad. May not be much more bondage in the episodes, but the episodes look as if they'll be fun. |
