| Just saw the news that Paramount has dropped the UK cinema release for Annihiliation (with the highly anticipated full treatment scene for Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Jennifer Jason Leigh) in favour of putting it straight onto the UK Netflix mid-March (after its US cinema release in Feb). While this may be a downer for UK film fans hoping to get to see it on the big screen, it's GREAT news for us as it means we should have access to a perfect quality cut of the scene way ahead of any Blu-Ray/DVD release! |

| "I thought little stuff like the cinematographer talking about Bridget Fonda b/g’d in a chair in Single White Female and unpeeling her gag was a hot discussion on the Suspiria DVD doc, but this was beyond anything we could ever expect." What are we talking about here? Is this on a Suspiria special edition or something? I know they share cinematographers, but this is the first I've heard of this. |

Searching back, found this 2006 post: 'Interesting previous post about Bridget Fonda and the effectiveness of tape gags re: the 'Suspiria' DVD: Was watching Dario Argento's "Suspiria" the other night on DVD and on the "making of" feature...and the director of photography mentioned that he worked on "single white female" and when Bridget Fonda spent her time in the chair...they left her there for a long time between takes. Left her there tied and gagged. At one point the director mentioned the lighting reminded him of SUSPIRIA. At this point, Bridget starting squirming like she wanted to say something, but they didn't want to take the tape off her mouth. He gave her a pen and paper and she wrote "Suspiria? Why Suspiria?" and the guy responded "I was the DOP on Suspiria" Bridget asked that the tape be removed and when it was she blurted out that it was one of her favorite movies and one of the reasons she got into the cinema.' |

| I didn't exactly expect it to produce anything, but I take it from anyone here who's seen Molly's Game, zippo for Jessica Chastain? I had my doubts seeing as it's based on true events but you know how Hollywood loves to take creative license sometimes with films based on real events and people. |

| My bad, just saw it isn't coming out until January, for some reason I thought it was out now, though there'll probably be some early screenings. I wouldn't hold my breath for it producing a scene but you never know for sure. |

Actually saw a preview of Molly's Game last week courtesy of Cineworld Secret Cinema - Chastain gets arrested and handcuffed at the start of the film but it's very brief. I mean like the cuffs go on and the scene cuts straight away There's also a hand gag I think later when a mob heavy forces his way into her apartment, but it's a pretty brutal scene. |

| Although nothing major that's definitely more than expected. Was that all for Chastain bondage-wise? I hope she did some good mmmppphhhing during her handgag. Seems she doesn't mind being in the occasional bit of perit, which gives me hope someday she'll get a good full treatment scene. |
