Title: Mang nu 72 xiao shi (1992) aka Retribution Sight Unseen aka Three Days of a Blind Girl Medium: Movie Actress: Veronica Yip, Unknown Description: Mrs Ng (Veronica Yip) is the young wife of a doctor who unbeknownst to her has abused some her patients. Mrs Ng is temporarily blind from a medical procedure. She is left alone by her maid to run an errand and Sam shows up. He is the husband of one of the abused patients, seeking revenge against the doctor’s wife. He first pretends to be friendly and charming to the blind woman. When she suspect he is not who he is pretending to be he begins to teases her and bullies her but does not get rough with her. He explains that her maid won’t come back and we get to see a quick shot of the woman (unknown actress) tied in the car’s truck and with tape over the mouth. Sam seems to go at sunset, leaving her locked up in her own home. In a plot twist a burglar breaks into her home that night and ties Mrs Ng to her bed. At minute 62 we see the lovely Veronica Yip with several loops of white rope around her wrists, her arms stretched to the bed posts and her ankles similarly bound and roped to the bed posts. She is fully dressed, without a gag. Sam returns and kills the thief. A cop rings at the door asking questions about robberies in the neighborhood. Sam must silence and hide Mrs. Ng At minute 68 a closet doors opens and Mrs Ng rolls wrapped in a bed spread, tied around with ropes. She struggles free of the bed spread and we see that she is cleaved gagged with her wrists tied behind her back with heavy load of rope. Her legs are tied below her knees as well as her ankles. A lengthy scene follows Mrs Ng as she goes bound down the stairs, step by step and inch by inch along a corridor trying to escape. She is regaining her sight and eventually manages to cuts her wrists free with the teeth of a saran wrap box. Although Sam recaptures her, he won’t tie her again. |

| First episode of this ten episode Mexican novela starring Blanca Soto that premiered last night on Telemundo had a good scene with Samantha Siqueiros tied up and cleave-gagged in the back of a van. Occurred over last 20 minutes. Could continue in tonight's episode, preview shows her getting chained to cot but not gagged. (it seems like a Telemundo/Netflix co production, so the whole series might be available on Netflix in some regions (not US yet though). In Mexico, current storyline of the telenovela Cita a ciegas has Victoria Ruffo sloppily cleave/OTM gagged. In the Mexican airing of La Usurpadora, Monday's episode had Sandra Echeverria getting bopped on the head and kidnapped. Might lead to something though there are no promos. (US airing is two weeks behind). |

Let’s pump the brakes here on concluding that the 3 gagged people are Birds of Prey. https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/birds-of-prey-trailer-breakdown-harley-quinn-huntr/2900-3074/ Based on this trailer breakdown, it looks like they could just be 3 unfortunate victims of the villain that meet a bad end, so the scene may occur early in the film as a demonstration of the main baddie’s evilness or whatever. Still, the fact that this villain knows his way around a tape gag and the hint that the Canary Cry may appear certainly bode well for other scenes in the movie! |

I agree with this. The person on the left, whose face is obscured, could even be a klutz judging by the relative comparison to the other two captives. So I doubt this is all three of the ladies, even if it could be one of them. I did scan the rest of the trailer looking for similar outfits on any of our main cast and no luck there. |

Looking at the cap closer, it does not appear to be ME Winstead. I'm guessing the earlier theory, these are extras that will be killed, because the guy makes the throat cut sign as well. |

| Speaking of the Huntress, Ashley Scott who played the character in the Birds of Prey TV series is returning to play the Huntress in the upcoming 5 hour Crisis on Infinite Earths arrowverse episodes on the CW Network. Also returning is Erica Durance as the Smallville version of Lois Lane. |

Well after breaking down the hanging scene myself and IMDB, the damsels do appear to be Mary Winstead and Ali Wong. During the closeup of Ali Wong's gag you can make out in the background the 2nd girl. The only other person listed in casting is Bojana Novakovic who plays a character named "ericka". But I don't think it's her. |
