Whitman Authorized Editions - Anyone Ever Read?
'While the Whitman Authorized Editions are not a series, each book features a fictional analogue of a '40s era teenage star as the protagonist of a mystery story. Stars featured in the series included Deanna Durbin, Bonita Granville, Judy Garland, Ginger Rogers, Betty Grable, and Ann Sheridan. Critics have remarked on the similarity in tone and story structure between the Whitman Authorized Editions and the Nancy Drew series.'

Empowered Volume 11
Here's one for the comic readers out there. Empowered Vol.11 was recently released in US comic stores. Was wondering if Emp gets any bondage at all in this? Seeing as it's a single story with an entire mind-controlled superhero population out to kill her. So lots of fighting obviously. But it'd be disappointing if Emp didn't get a full treatment panel or 3 even a flashback would be cool. Still going to order it anyway, just curious...

I don’t follow this all that closely but isn’t this the comic where the heroine *always* gets into some kind of bondage scenario? I thought it was like the entire point.

Re: Empowered Volume 11
The bondage was definitely the point in early volumes but the non-bondage storylines(which are quite excellent)have become more prevalent as the years have passed. This particular new volume doesn't look to have much bondage at all, but the author/artist is mindful of his DiD fans so he usually puts a nice scene or two in each volume. His big knotted cleaves are always a joy to behold. Hopefully someone can enlighten us on what if any bondage exists in Vol.11

General Hospital again?
Through a series of coincidental events that were only slightly more likely than winning the lottery, Sam (Kelly Monaco) once again ended up in the clutches of the villainous Shiloh today on GH. So it's at least possible Ms. Monaco will have another scene coming in future episodes.

Wow, let's hope so. Thanks for catching this.

There is a guy knocked out that she found, so possible she'll be tied up with him sans gags, at least that's the usual storyline. Hopefully, he'll just take Sam somewhere and leave the guy behind.

And nobody gives a better "uh, oh, I;m about to be tied up" look better than Monaco when she's caught the end of the episode.

That's the only full treatment although as a previous poster pointed out there is a scene where Tessa Hoder is blindfolded but not tied, and in episode 8 her hands are tied in front with a blue rope, pretty much throughout.

Also in episode 5 the police Profiler played by the gorgeous Natalie Madueno is kidnapped and has her hands ziptied in front of hermit doesn't last long because she's rescued by chance quite quickly

American Horror Story: 1984
Nothing so far from the initial episode barring an extremely brief and minor handgag for Emma Roberts, but who knows what the remainder of the show might produce. Theres's been some DID material in past seasons and the potential is certainly there for this one.
