Best Horror DID Scenes
With Halloween approaching what better time to list and discuss our favorite DID and B&G scenes from the Horror genre. Been watching plenty of Horror films and shows throughout the month and have re-visited plenty of favorite scenes from the genre. Some of my all-time favorite Horror DID scenes in no real order for me:

Hellraiser III (Terry Farrell)
Vampires (Sheryl Lee)
Curse Of Chucky (Fiona Dourif)
Frailty (Cynthia Ettinger)

If The X-Files counts as Horror (and it does for me), then Gillian Anderson's two excellent duct tape gags in Unruhe and Our Town are all-time keepers for me, too.

What about the original TCM with Marilyn Burns?

The scene in "Eaten Alive was even better, although the movie itself is awful.

I agree they are the best. I also like "Mystery in Wax when she gets chloroed by a cackling madwoman. It'd be nice if they got to the Noel Neill scene in the "Perils of Superman" episode, but since that's late in the run I don't know if they will.

Re: Best Horror DID Scenes
Many and numerous of course. For mine it's always the original Wrong Turn. Eliza Dushku in those inescapable wire ties and sexy tight belt-cleave gag. She was so helpless and vulnerable; complete contrast to her tough tv alter ego Faith The Vampire Slayer. Think I read ages ago somebody's remaking/rebooting that film. Hope they keep that scene with a new actress to enjoy. It won't top Eliza though

Re: Best Horror DID Scenes
Eaten Alive lol. Oh No it's the Rubber Alligator look out!!! Wonderfully eccentric bad guy tho Ole Judd. Marilyn's gag was so effective and her struggles were mighty. Definitely influenced my tastes and was scary for a kid at the time. Tobe Hooper was a major fright-inducer with Texas Chainsaw and Salem's Lot etc

Re: Lois lane
If the new series has as many awesome cleave gag scenes as Teri Hatcher got in Lois & Clark we'll be well-satisfied. Each scene Teri received improved on the last. Can't think of two many actresses who wore a cleave better than Teri did

Re: Best Horror DID Scenes
I'd have to add Ready Or Not to the list. Great scene with inescapable bondage and a wonderful gag. If the damsel wasn't rescued she wasn't going anywhere anytime. Great horror film too :)

House Of The Devil. Perfect recreation of an early 1980's horror film. Great suspenseful build-up to the f/t scene. Gorgeous(Karen Allen lookalike)damsel dancing around the spooky house in her tight Eighties jeans. A minor horror masterpiece

Crazy good resource on IMDb
Just stumbled across something seriously impressive that I don't think has been mentioned here.

https://www.imdb.com/list/ls090970655

IMDb user "jamesmcgowan-20162" has been making lists of gag scenes (with screencaps of course). And yes, we've seen those before...but this guy's up to 2,767 unique scenes and counting, every one of them apparently with a "best in show" screencap and links to the movie or series-AND-episode, as well as the actress. Wow.

Indeed Raffish it is quite amazing and keeps growing. I look it up from time to time to see which classic scene is added next. Definitely a labor of love for its creator and kudos to the IMDB I guess for tolerating its very existence

Naomi Campbell homage to Almodovar
This is a late 1990s cover of a the Spanish magazine V Magazine, with Naomi Campbell given the full treatment in homage to Pedro Almodovar's film "Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down."

In the article, Naomi says: "I'm sure many people have probably wanted to tie me up and gag me and make sure I keep my mouth shut. But I'll only do that here, in honor of Pedro [Almodovar]."

Enjoy!

For me, my favorites will always be those 1940s-50s Columbia Pictures comedy shorts involving haunted houses and damsels in distress, such as

Title: Pardon my Terror (1946) (Gus) Schilling and (Richard) Lane: Damsel: Christine McIntyre
Title: Shivering Sherlocks (1948) The Three Stooges: Damsel: Christine McIntyre
Title: Dopey Dicks (1950) The Three Stooges: Damsel: Christine McIntyre
Title: Spooks (1953) The Three Stooges: Damsel: Norma Randall
Title: Of Cash and Hash (1955) The Three Stooges: Damsel: Christine McIntyre

Interestingly, in each short, the blonde beauty got a handgag followed by a full treatment.

Happy Halloween, fellow fans of the DiD!
