| Cristine Prosperi should have gotten bound and gagged. She is so hot. At the end, the mom Leslie Kay Sterling gets abducted by the abusive boyfriend and she was not even tied. These cheerleader movies have been a bust so far. |

Hooker episode “The Obsession” (5.09). The episode begins with Off. Stacy Sheridan (Heather Locklear) out on patrol, her shoulder-length straight blonde hair neatly done up in a professional-looking ponytail. In the opening minutes, she is taken hostage during a botched robbery. In the getaway van, she is cuffed (hands behind) with her own handcuffs and will stay that way for the balance of the episode. Stacy’s hair becomes progressively (and realistically) more disheveled as the episode goes on. No wonder. She gets into several physical confrontations with her captors; makes an escape attempt that ends up with her rolling down a hillside; and is cleave-gagged, un-gagged, and re-gagged several times, both under and over the hair. At one point, the gang leader – who, not surprisingly, has gotten the hots for her – flirts with her by undoing her ponytail. Later, when the gang goes to rob a bank, Stacy must be left alone and unguarded in the getaway van. To prevent her escape, the handcuffed Stacy is cleave-gagged and hogtied. As Stacy struggles furiously against the hogtie, her hair flails around wildly. Later still, the obsessed gang leader tries to force his kisses onto Stacy. She resists and, again, her hair flails around wildly. At the episode’s climax, the cuffed and gagged Stacy is used as a human shield. By now – between the manhandling, the gaggings, the dirt, and the sweat – Stacy’s hair is an absolute mess when Hooker effects rescue. Not only does Miss Locklear get top honors for best messy-haired damsel, she also wins the prize for damsel most manhandled during her period of captivity. |

Faye (Burns), who wears an open blouse over a white camisole and lace tap pants, is attacked in the bathroom of a dilapidated hotel at 41mins. Judd, the psychotic hotel owner, first throws her to the floor and covers her with a shower curtain, then ties her hands behind her back with rope and feet together. He smacks her around repeatedly, while all the screaming from Faye wakes up her daughter Angie (Kyle Richards of Little House on the Prairie fame) in the next room, who runs out of the building after seeing the abuse. The distraction provided by Angie gives Faye (still with her hands tied behind her back) a chance to get to her feet and escape down the stairs, but Judd quickly returns. He chases her back up to the second floor, slowly backing her up against a room door as she pleads with him. More smacking ensues. At 44mins, Faye is shown lying on a bed, hands tied upper spreadeagle to the headboard and feet tied together to the footboard. At least initially her feet are raised slightly above the mattress due to the tight ropes leading to the top of the footboard. She is also gagged with several overlapping strips of black electrical tape, and appears to be tightly wraparound gagged with another strip; overall a very effective gag. From hereon until the end of the movie, we are treated to near-constant squirming, mmpphhing and squealing from Faye, with close-ups and full-body views galore as we revisit her plight many times. It cannot be understated as to how truly amazing her struggling becomes, as she bounces on the bed and shakes it with all her strength to attract the attention of the only other people in the hotel, namely a couple getting frisky in another room. They fail to locate her after Judd terrorizes them. Later, help finally arrives in the form of Libby (Crystin Sinclaire), who hears Faye mmpphhing across the hallway. Shocked at what she sees upon entering the room, she spends a few moments untying Faye onscreen at 1hr 26mins. |

With no prior capture sequence, she is shown in the attic with her hands tied in front with duct tape around a post, and gagged with more (narrow) tape wrapped around her head holding in a piece of plastic explosive stuffed in her mouth as packing. As the villain is taunting Eddie (Jeff Fahey) downstairs, she furiously works to free her wrists. The scene lasts about two minutes and ends with her just about to ungag herself. |

| Just got caught up with the recorded series from earlier in the year. That probably set a record for percentage of episodes (100%), percentage of time, and total time that the lead actress (Jennifer Carpenter) spent in restraints. Now, the restraints weren't all that exciting, at least for me, consisting of prison shackles or front cuffs with about a foot of chain. There were a few times where she was shown getting the shackles installed. As is demonstrated several times, this doesn't really prevent her from doing anything she wants, including knocking out people and wielding firearms. There were a couple of times when she was arrested and did have her cuffs behind the back. |

The perfunctory use of the cuffs was so dull that with the exception of the pilot, nobody bothered with either comments on Discussion or Database entries. A lot of wasted potential with that show, and it won't be back for a second season. |

| This is a shot in the dark, but here goes. Does anyone recall a F/F scene that takes place in a basement; the damsel is pretty young (20-25 I'd guess), wearing a pink short sleeved top, jeans, and grey heeled boots; she also has her hair in pigtail buns (don't know the technical name for it). The scene begins with her seated on the floor with her hands tied behind her back as the villainess stands over her while taunting. This is all I remember of the scene I'm afraid, but maybe someone here can help. |
