Personally, to be fair, IMO this was one of the worst gag scenes I have ever seen! One small piece of tape that was wrinkled beyond belief. I wondered how it even stayed stuck to her face!

For me - BY FAR - the scene I have ever watched the most is from THE INCREDIBLE TWO HEADED TRANSPLANT with Pat Priest. The part where she is done up onscreen in the laboratory while the dumb sheriff is right outside that room, is absolutely perfect! The way she struggles to knock over the tray with the medical supplies was the best ever made IMO!

Re: Question
Agree with Gillian Anderson's scenes in The X-Files; love rewatching all her scenes. A previous poster mentioned Our Town and Unruhe - obviously a tape gag fan. Being a cleave fan my favorites are Irresistible and its sequel Orison. She looked fantastic gagged anyway though as all beautiful women do. They're replaying the original series in my part of the world weeknights in Hi-Def. Seeing all the original episodes(some for the first time in decades)again has been a real treat. Gillian is so luminously lovely you can't take your eyes off her every episode, and her occasional f/t scene is the icing on the cake. Shame she's walked away from the recent reboot which has now ended. The concept is still very sound tho maybe two new leads can take it on someday

I found the trailer on U-Toob, and went frame by frame on that scene. Sorry to say I don't think she's bound and she's definitely not gagged, which is a pity, because Sofia is cute as a freaking button! It does look like a pretty fun flick, though...a Vampir-ey take on the classic 'Revenge against the school bully' story.

Yeah doesn't look like a scene but you never know Sofia may get something. Horror/thrillers always have possibilities. Sofia is indeed stunning hope something comes along for her asap

I was in Foot Locker in 1980 and I saw a preview Bad Cats. I definitely remember seeing Michelle Pfeiffer tape gagged in the preview.

Confirmed scene in the finale of pennyworth for the Queen herself, kidnapped by the two female villains of the series. Looks like it could be a gag only scene.

Re: Realistic gags?
On September 27 2019 (unsigned poster) wrote:

> Favorite scenes with realistic gags?

I’m all for realism. Here are some of my favorite examples:

Title: A Clockwork Orange (1971) Damsel: Adrienne Corri
We begin with the most famous example. Mrs. Alexander (Adrienne Corri) is tied (hands behind) by Alex (Malcolm McDowell) and his home-invading droogs. Alex then shoves a rubber ball into her mouth, which he serves over with multiple windings of cellophane tape. The realism of the gag is enhanced as her hair gets tangled up in the tape. Very realistic; and very effective.

Title: Rookie Blue Episode: "Surprises" (4.01) Damsel: Missy Peregrym
Undercover officer Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym), having been knocked unconscious at the end of the last act, awakens inside a truck to find herself sporting a black tape wraparound gag (multiple windings) and her hands bound behind with the same black tape. We get some nice head shots of her beautiful (and realistically gagged) face.

Title: Blondie's Big Deal (1949) Damsel: Penny Singleton
Blondie Bumstead (Penny Singleton), while investigating two crooks, has her cover blown. The two men tie her to a chair and gag her. The gag is a white cloth OTM typical of the era. Nevertheless, it looks very thick, very tight, very effective, and very realistic. The audience is treated to several delightful head shots as she is left alone to her struggles.
The bondage likewise looks realistic. Blondie is tied to the chair head to toe with copious amounts of rope. The ropes are hastily and sloppily applied, as though she were struggling not to be tied up, and the villains were having a dickens of a time getting the ropes around her.
In fact, the whole scene is realistic. When Blondie is grabbed, she struggles in their grasp. She screams for help and is handgagged. She bites his hand and continues to struggle and scream. In all, a great scene from start to finish, and more realistic than one might expect from a comedy film.

Title: Knight Rider (1982) Episode: "Give Me Liberty... or Give Me Death" (1.15) Damsel: Robin Dearden Reporter Liberty Cox (Robin Dearden) is caught snooping. She is bound in rope (ankles together, hands behind). Her gag consists of two strips of wide adhesive tape neatly overlapping straight across her mouth, increasing the coverage and effectiveness of the gag.

Title: Viper Episode: "Trust No One" (3.16) Damsel: Heather Medway
Det. Cameron Westlake (Heather Medway) is captured by the villain of the week. She is bound in the standing position, AOH, to a staircase. She is also cleave-gagged, blindfolded, and left out as hero bait. A close-up shot displays the most neatly applied cleave gag and blindfold you will ever see.

Title: Rookie Blue Episode: "The One That Got Away" (2.07) Damsel: Missy Peregrym
Off. Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym), while conducting a search of a rape suspect’s public storage locker, is blindsided by the criminal and knocked unconscious. When she comes to, she sitting on the floor, her ankles bound with duct tape, and her hands out of sight behind her back (and, presumably, also tape bound). She is also sporting a huge swath of the tape over her mouth. It is neatly applied, and looks very effective.
Later, when the suspect goes to strangle her, he demands that she not look at him as he does the nasty. When she refuses to close her eyes, he tape-blindfolds her. Just then, one of Andy’s male colleagues shows up to subdue the suspect. Her fellow officer first removes the tape-blindfold (which became caught in her hair as it was hastily applied) and then the tape-gag. Her skin is realistically pulled away from her face as the sticky tape is removed.

Title: Friday the 13th: The Series Episode: "Better Off Dead" (2.15) Damsel: Louise Robey
Micki Foster (series regular Louise Robey) is caught snooping by a mad doctor and is rendered unconscious. She awakens inside a cage, dressed in a hospital gown, and her hands bound behind. When she points out the immorality of killing one person even if it saves the life of another, the enraged doctor enters the cage. In one of the best and most realistic onscreen tape-gaggings you will ever see, the doctor stretches a swath of foam core surgical tape before her. Micki keeps her head moving in an effort to avoid getting tape gagged. But she ultimately loses the battle, and the tape ends up plastered over her mouth. Her struggle to avoid the taping results in the tape being less-than-perfectly applied. But that just makes the gag more realistic. And it is effective.

Title: Blind Witness (1989) Damsel: Victoria Principal
In this TV-Movie, home invaders break into the house of a blind woman named Maggie Kemlich (Victoria Principal) and her husband. In one of the best onscreen bondage tie-ups you will ever see, Maggie is gagged with brown plastic packing tape wrapped good and tight around her head. And when I say tight, I mean TIGHT! She is then bound, hands behind, with thin white cord. For good measure, another winding of tape around her torso pins her arms to her sides. She continues to struggle against her captors and her bondage and eventually manages to lock herself in the bathroom – where she hears the sounds of her husband being killed. Excellent mix of close-ups and full shots.

Title: T.J. Hooker Episode: "The Obsession" (5.09) Damsel: Heather Locklear
Off. Stacy Sheridan (played by a then 25 year-old super-hot Heather Locklear) is taken hostage during a botched robbery and cuffed (hands behind) with her own handcuffs (thoughtfully provided). She will remain handcuffed until the very end of the episode. At various times, she will also be gagged with a thick white cloth cleave.
Midway through the episode (following the bank robbery), the audience is treated to a head shot of lovely Heather, her beautiful face sporting a very thick, very tight, very effective, and perfectly applied white cloth cleave. That alone, as they say, is worth the price of admission.

Title: Republic of Doyle Episode: "The Common Wealth" (4.06)
In an isolated interrogation room, plainclothes Constable Monica Hayward (Patricia Isaac) gets outmaneuvered by art thief Natalie Hurst (Romina D’Ugo), who picks the locks on her cuffed-in-front hands and takes away the officer’s sidearm. Twenty minutes later, Natalie, now wearing Monica’s clothes, gun, and badge, coolly walks unchallenged out of the police station.
But, if Natalie is wearing Monica’s clothes, doesn’t that mean… yeah, it does.
When Monica is found in the interrogation room, she is sitting in a chair, gagged with a black cloth cleave, her hands behind the backrest (and presumably cuffed)… and clad only in her matching black bra and panties! And madder than the proverbial wet hen.
The black cloth cleave is tied very, very tightly under her hair. And I have no doubt that the handcuffs, out of sight behind the chair back, have been ratcheted very tightly onto her wrists.

BONUS! Title: The Three Stooges Episode: Dopey Dicks (1950) Damsel: Christine McIntyre
Louise (Christine McIntyre) is writing a note in a private detective’s office. She is unaware of the black-clad figure that has entered silently through a side door. The camera now focuses on Louise’s head. A black-gloved hand reaches out from behind and clamps itself over Louise’s mouth.
The camera now shoots the full shot, with Louise struggling furiously (but ineffectually) and mmmphing and squealing almost noiselessly as she is taken away.
This is the best and most realistic handgag scene I have ever seen, and applied onto one of the most beautiful women to have ever lived.

Re: Realistic gags?
As for realistic and convincing tape gags, some of the most convincing tape gags I've seen are both of Missy Peregrym's Rookue Blue scenes, Cameron Diaz in a Life Less Ordinary, Gina Gershon in Palmetto and Natasha Henstridge in Caracara. Their tape gags look very tight and sticky, and the tape looks to be durable enough that combined with the adhesive you buy them as completely restricting speech.

Terry Farrell in Hellraiser III with the gnarly-looking leather mask/muzzle is also very convincing. Looks extremely tight and like no speech or mouth movement would be possible whatsoever.

My apologies on this--I honestly don't know, but thought I had seen somewhere on this page, many years ago, that Frank had passed on. I could have confused him with Fuzzweb, or just stupidly got this wrong. He was a pleasure to deal with, and his tapes were goldmines or rare scenes. I hope he's still with us!

And they may not be the best quality, but thanks to whoever posted the BAD CATS images. I tried some searches to try and find the TV Guide cap, but no luck.

Re: Realistic gags?
Funny games
Title: Funny Games (1997)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Susanne Lothar

Description: This dark Austrian movie begins as a quaint family trip to the country. Once settled in, however, that knock at the cottage door turns out to be much more than it initially seemed. The home is soon taken over by two sadistic 'punks', and Susanne Lothar's first scene begins at 51mins with her being led into the living room, wrists bound behind her with brown cellophane packing tape.

Psycho #1 then forces her onto the sofa, and tapes up her ankles as well (she is not, at this point, gagged). In an escape attempt a few minutes later, we see her rise from the sofa and vigorously hop across the room to her injured husband (who is not bound). He unsuccessfully attempts to rip the tape from her wrists with his fingers, and then resorts to gnawing at the tape with his teeth. To no avail, however, as Psycho #2 inconveniently comes back into the room.

Later, the bad-guys having said their 'adieus' and left, there are a few other momentary scenes of Lothar hopping around until she finally frees herself. At 1hr 32mins, and in the first of two great scenes in the movie: having had no phone at the vacation cottage we see her attempting to flag down a car for help on a country road, while her injured husband stays back at the cottage, waiting for her to return with the police.

Seems it must've been JUST the wrong car to try to attract attention from, because we then cut to Lothar being led back into the cottage by the bad guys, to her husband's shock, bound with rope and THOROUGHLY gagged.

In stringent and ingenious bondage, seldom seem in mainstream movies or tv, her wrists are bound with rope in front of her, and held tightly to her crotch. It's then, and in the follow-up scene as she sits on the sofa, that we notice THAT's what the piece of rope around her neck is for: her wrist bondage in front is connected via a crotchrope underneath, then up her back to a noose formed around her neck, it's then drawn so tightly that she is unable even to sit up correctly on the couch.

We are then treated to over a full minute of close-up of Lothar's incredible gag, as she sits almost motionless on the sofa trying to deal with cloth-packing of immense proportions, distending her cheeks/mouth to the point of being almost a caricature (the single piece of rope 'holding' the cloth in her mouth seems superfluous). There is then some wonderful 'acting' (?) by Lothar as the camera stays on her while alternately choking/gagging and attempting to breathe through the monstrous gag (a teardrop even forming at the corner of her eye).

We get to see exactly whats inside her mouth when the bad-guys decide that she would be much more fun to play with if she werent indeed gagged: one of them pulls her forward on the sofa (the expression on her face from the tightening noose around her neck when he does this seems almost real), and then cuts the rope running up her back, connecting her wrists to the noose. Wrists still bound, she hurriedly reaches up and pulls the single piece of rope from around her mouth, then makes quite a production out of pulling the HUGE piece of cloth from her own mouth, allowing her to again breathe freely.

The other great scene occurs at 1hr 41mins, as we see a long-shot of the bad-guys leading our heroine down to a boat dock. She is attired in a yellow rain-slicker as they lead her onto a sailboat, and we see then that she is again incredibly well-gagged. This time with the aforementioned brown cellophane packing tape wrapped completely around her head, multiple times, completely covering her lower face and chin. No real indication of what might be inside her mouth, but we do plainly see that her cheeks are bulging above the tape.

We then also become aware that she is bound in much the same manner as she was before, wrists with rope in front, crotchrope underneath and up to her neck (although the noose is not nearly as tight this time). Psycho #2 unties the noose arrangement so that he can then sit her on the floor of the boat. He binds her ankles, and then then wrists-to-ankles in front. It seems the inference is that Lothar is gagged almost to the point of choking again, as there is no sound coming from her, and she is seen sitting on the floor of the boat and blinking her eyes at times quite rapidly, as if trying to keep from choking. Several more excellent close-ups of Lothar's gagged face, and there is one more attempt at escape as the bad-guys take her out for a jaunt on the lake
Title: Funny Games (2007)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Naomi Watts

Description: This shot-for-shot remake of the Austrian original (hence this database entry will be almost word-for-word) begins as a quaint family trip to the country. Once settled in, however, that knock at the cottage door turns out to be much more than it initially seemed. The home is soon taken over by two sadistic 'punks', and Naomi Watts' first scene begins with her being led into the living room, wearing only her white bra and panties (in contrast to Susanne Lothar in the original, who wore a white slip), wrists bound behind her with brown cellophane packing tape.

Psycho #1 then forces her onto the sofa, and tapes up her ankles as well (she is not, at this point, gagged). In an escape attempt a few minutes later, we see her rise from the sofa and vigorously hop across the room to her injured husband (who is not bound). I was about to post the same thing. I don't know where and when the "BAD CATS" thread went down the wrong rabbit hole, but Kim Bassinger is the damsel in the recently posted images. Michelle Pfeiffer is hiding in the "B.A.D. Cats" rabbit hole.

Great news, anyone catch a cap of this? Will have to wait until the show posts on the web site.
