I just finished reading Pegasus Descending by James Lee Burke and I am really happy to see that he included a very descriptive bound and gagged scene in his book, even though it was kind of short. I will go out and get Final Theory by Mark Alpert. I'll be looking forward to long and decriptive scenes as well. Does anyone know of any other novels where the bondage scenes are long and descriptive like Final Theory? Thnaks for reading this post.

I read this novel as well, and enjoyed the scene near the end of the book where the beautiful blonde named Trish Klein, the daughter of Dave Robicheaux's deceased friend, is bound and gagged by the dastardly villains. She is bound and gagged with duct tape; her gag is duct tape wrapped completely around her mouth.

Book two of "The Night Angel Trilogy, named "Shadow's Edge" has a better part of a chapter where one of the side characters is "bound tightly at the wrist, elbows, ankles, and knees" and also describes that she is "seriously gagged, not just some piece of cloth tied over her mouth, but like someone wrapped a giant rock with a cloth and tied it around her mouth every which way."

Terriers
Apologies if this has been previously mentioned, but the new FX series "Terriers" has a scene, probably in the opening episode (Sept 8). There's a short glimpse of it in the series promo.

I remember one called "Kona, Monarch of Monster Island" (I think) about a modern family that crashed on the always-popular "land that time forgot." In the first or second issue the mother was kidnapped by bad cavemen who were going to war with the hero and his good tribe. The woman was tied to the skull od a dinosaur and used as sort of a banner leading them into war. (The bad guys had trained Tyrannosaurs helping them while the good guys had domesticated Triceratops.) Dinosaurs and a damsel in distress - it just didn't get much better for a kid like me back in those days. In fact, that formula still sounds pretty good.

Probably mis-remembering the name, but there was one called something like Bobby Benson's Bar B Riders long ago that had quite a cover and story to match. Lovely young woman strapped down on a table, a gotesque villain menacing her with a knife, decapitated heads in the background on shelves or hanging, and the young hero swinging in to the rescue. Wish I still had it for more than one reason. Comic books like that one for kids were why we got the comic book authority to regulate content, although their standards have loosened some over the years of course.

novel bondage
Daniel Silva's very good international thriller The Rembrandt Affair has a spicy international reporter captured at a party in a Swiss Chalet. She is working undercover with an Israeli operative vs an international smuggler. She is bound with tape, gagged, transported, goes about a chapter or more. The male agent receives the same treatment. Good novel, it is a current bestseller.

Scream 4 rumor
I was at a wedding last night, and the folks sitting at my table were from Northville, Michigan, where they are currently shooting Scream 4, and their house was being used for a few scenes.

They said that they had to live in a hotel for a week or so, but were excited to be a part of the film. And the husband of the couple said, "And how many people do you know that have had Kristin Bell tied up in their living room?"

Take it with a grain of salt... but at least that is a nice visual.

Wait a minute now...why would he make such a comment unless it wasn't based on at least a grain of truth? Would someone make such a comment casually and spontaneously in polite company? I don't think so. I think(and earnestly hope) that this homeowner witnessed the filming of a scene in which the beauteous Ms. Bell was bound and hopefully gagged. I don't think that such a thought occurs to most people(excepting us), and his comment sounds as though it originates from actual experience.

Amnesty International Ad
Sometime in around 1995, there was an amnesty international TV ad featuring a gagged girl. She was sobbing and she mmmmppphed out message about her not being able to express herself and that she was the victim of an oppressive regime, etc. Subtitles spelled out what she was saying. Does anytone remember this ad. Does anyone remember this ad, have a screen cap or a clip of it?

Thanks
