Thursday August 12 01:26:34 2010 comic book scene |
was hoping someone could help identify a scene in a comic book. It involves the x-man character Siryn shattering her metal gag using her sonic powers. Anyone remember what comic book and issue that was? thanks in advance. |

Thursday August 12 01:46:46 2010 The Expendables |
Caught a screening the other night. There are a couple of brief scenes with Giselle Itié, who plays Stallone's not-quite love interest. Maybe a little less than halfway through the film, her character Sandra is taken captive by the evil dude played by Eric Robers, who decides to waterboard her. She gets her wrists tied in front with rope, then they pull a towel over her mouth and nose for the waterboarding. It's not depicted in too brutal a way, at least, and some people might dig the pseudo-gag. I was hopeful she'd turn up gagged later in the film, since she's held prisoner off-screen a long time. (Also, the film starts off with a lengthy sequence of about a dozen putzes B&G.) No such luck on Sandra, but we do see her tied to a chair and blindfolded. Some creepers come in and start to make moves like they're going to assault her before Stallone and his boys come to the rescue. Nada for Charisma Carpenter, who has two brief, pointless scenes as Jason Statham's squeeze. |

If it's the one I'm thinking of, when Magneto had taken over some kind of satellite or space station, I'm pretty sure it was in one of the first issues of the new "X-men" title that came out in the early 90's when they gave Jim Lee his own series. It may have even been the first issue. |

It's not quite an answer to the question you asked but I always thought the show "Dynasty" might have had the largest number of good looking female regulars who were bound and gagged at some time in their career, even if it wasn't on "Dynasty" itself. I think just about all the females on that show got it at some point during their careers. |

If the cast of "Dynasty" consisted mostly of women, then you may have provided an answer to my question. |

It may have even been the first issue. I remember that one. X-Men #3 I believe from the aforementioned Jim Lee series. It was Moira MacTaggert though, so this might not be the scene you're looking for. |

If you check out the newest Entertainment Weely (has harry potter on the front). In back in the TV section there's a little bit about Showtimes Weeds. In the blurd, there's a small picture showing singer Alanis morrisete bound to a chair with bungies (no gag). |

Thursday August 12 19:26:10 2010 as the world turns |
so is ATWT back to it's norm of not showing the damsels in distress for days on end? I've not heard anything for the past 2 days about barbara's predicament. |

Don't worry. The show will be dead in a month, and then you won't have to waste your time with new scenes from it any longer. |

Hmmm...I'm not sure getting new scenes from a show is "wasting time"...but that's just me. On another note, I finally got around tonite in watching the Rizzoli & Isles scene from a few weeks ago. DOes anyone know the ID of the actress who was seen first, bound & gagged w/ tape on the floor next to Angie Harmon in the flashback scene? I looked back in the DIscussion pages & couldn't find any info and for some reason the Database only lists Angie's scene & does not even mention the other girl's scene, even as "unknown actress". Anyone know the actress's name? Thanks all |

Marcus was referring to the fact that As the World Turns has not been renewed by CBS and the final episode will air on September 17th of this year. |

She was on Chelsea Lately last night, and they showed a clip of that. Seemed like she was kidnapped by an obsessed guy or something. She was chatting with him in a fairly non-distressed way. The show will likely repeat over the next few days. |
