Tuesday August 24 00:12:54 2010 Any recent books out there with Bondage in them? |
Thanks for the recent post concerning The Glass Rainbow by James Lee Burke. I was wondering if anyone out there any other new books with bondage lately? If you could think of any new titles written this year please post them. Thanks for reading my email. |

The episode is called "In the > Fear of the Phantom" There will always be an obligatory full treatment bondage scene for Daphne in any new animated series featuring Scooby Doo. She will always retain the label of "damsel in distress" to some degree, and will consequently be bound and gagged at least once in any new Scooby Doo animated series. |

You can check on Amazon Books or Google Books. Both have search features where you can type in key words plus 2010 if you want to focus on this year's books. |

Tuesday August 24 15:50:02 2010 As the World Turns (possibility) |
The preview for tomorrow's episode shows "Janet Ciccone" (Julie Pinson) discovering a bound and gagged man ("Dusty Donovan"), with his captor ("Anthony Blackthorn") right there with her. Hopefully, she will get bound and gagged as well. |

Tuesday August 24 15:55:52 2010 "The Town" possibility |
The upcoming (mid - Sept.) movie "The Town" could have something in it. Trailer shows bank employee Rebecca Hall being taken hostage by a group of bank robbers; later after she's been released one of them romances her. She doesn't know him because he was initially masked and later she was blindfolded. One shot shows her from behind with her hands in front of her, possibly tied. |

Toward the end of today's episode, "Janet" tries opening the door to the room where "Dusty" is being held prisoner, not knowing that he is in there. "Blackthorn" comes out of the room to tell her that there is nothing in there. "Dusty" kicks something to make noise and "Janet" hears it. In the preview for tomorrow's episode, "Dusty" yells through his gag "Run, Janet, run!" and she yells back "Dusty! Dusty!" |

Lisa Gardener's latest "Live To Tell" has two bound adn gagged damsels in the closing chapters. Also a book called Hot Pursuit by Suzanne Brockman which is part of the Troubleshooters series I've seen a couple of others as well I'm sure but the titles don't always stick |

Tuesday August 24 17:59:17 2010 More recent comic book action |
Two recent scenes well worth most of our time. First, Action Comics 891 (still on the stands) has Lex Luthor's robot Lois Lane (it's complicated) bound and gagged in some old west-themed garb. One key panel is available for preview here: http://www.ifanboy.com/content/articles/The_Best_of_the_Week_in_Panels_-_07_29_2010 Next, and much more lengthy, is a scene from the Vertigo OGN "Area 10," available in most chain bookstores. SPOILER WARNING. The cute, glasses wearing psychiatrist is surprised in her home and spends 10-20 pages in classic damsel in distress fashion, tied to a chair, cleave gagged, and threatened by the killer. Chris Samnee's art is really nice. About the only negative to the sequence I can find is that she's not wearing the aforementioned glasses during the scene. The story's pretty good, too. Worth picking up. |
