| Bunch of stuff of interest premiering in the coming weekends on Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network. This Saturday on LMN is "Killer Ending" with Kayla Wallace getting chloroformed and tied to a chair in the promo with villainess playing cat and mouse with her author mother played by Emmanuelle Vaugier.. Promo for another sequel to Eric Roberts's "Stalked by My Doctor" premiering next month on June 10 shows him with two girls strapped down to operating tables as he gets bashed on the head. Brianna Chomer is back as well wanting revenge, he'll no doubt turn the tables on her after she probably kidnaps him. Most promising from its trailer is "A Night to Regret" premiering on June 24 on Lifetime. Crazy guy is obsessed with Mollee Gray after seeing her on a webcam. Trailer shows her getting knocked out with a sleep spray, tied down to a bed arms spread and cleave-gagged on screen; later tied up and cleave-gagged on a couch and also a handgagging when she tries to escape. |

Looking up "A Night to Regret" on IMDB.com, I noticed that one of its co-writers was Christine Conradt, who also did such a terrific job on "The Bride He Bought Online" (2015) which she both wrote and made her directorial debut. One of the things that elevated the thriller above the usual Lifetime-fare was that the characters were three-dimensional: No one was all-good (except Alexandra Paul as the smart police detective), nor was anyone totally evil (not even the male villain). |
