The quote said the name is Vanessa but the only scene from her for All My Children in the database is for a tape gag. Do you have more info?

A Herdeira
Leading actress Kelly Bailey gets bound and gagged in the most recent episode of this Portuguese soap opera. Just one scene. Abduction and escape happen off screen, might be flashbacks in next two episodes to detail what happened.

Actually, that was not her name. It was Loretta, not Vanessa. She was not a regular, she just had a recurring role for maybe a month or so. There was a rich villain (named "Morgan I *think*) causing grief for Brooke & somehow Tad (who was in a relationship with Brooke at the time) got involved. One reason I remember it was because at the time the regular "Tad" (Michael E. Knight) was not available and the role had been temporarily recast with Terrell Anthony.
Anyway, the baddie's rich wife, Loretta (about 30 I guess, pretty cute), who had been seen a few times during the storyline, was instructed to guard Tad, who was tied to a chair. Tad manages to escape & ties Loretta to the chair & cleave gags her with the dark blue bandana that had been gagging him earlier (and that's when he says the part about the gag looking better on her than on him. She's wearing a red dress.
Later, some of the heroes (Adam Chandler, Jeremy Hunter, Natalie, and Trevor Dillin) have picked up the baddie's trail find Loretta tied to the chair and are driving a car and bring Loretta along, so she's now sitting in the back seat of the car with them, still tied & gagged. Eventually they take off her gag to ask what she know's about where her hubby took Tad & Brooke.

I think that the actress's name is Regina Scott.

If you can find the date that was aired it will be very helpful to find the scene.

That scene with Lien van de Kelder is a very underrated scene. One of the tightest gags in mainstream scene.

Wow, I think that is the worst wrap tape gag that I have ever seen. Does anyone think that's sticking to her?

About as bad as the scene a while back on "Deception" where a female character after her hands were untied reached up and pulled down her wrap tape gag and it came right down like a loose cloth. And even worse, since her hands were of course tied in front, she could have pulled it down at any time. Why do they even bother with this weak stuff?

If you have a month/year estimate, we could dig it up.

Sorry, do not know the exact date. And yes, it's VERY hard to find and isn't in the database I just saw. About the best I can do , it was I believe 1990. Reason I know that is because that was the year that Terrell Anthony replaced Michael E. Knight as Tad Martin (according to the IMDB), and Terrell was definitely playing Tad during this scene.

I do have the entire scene on videotape (yes, it was THAT long ago!) but do not have any idea how to post it online or anything.

Actually, though, is you do a search on YT for "All My Children- 1990- Tad is kidnapped", they show the baddies grabbing Tad & then calling Brooke, and the baddie's wife Loretta is present, so you can at least see what she looks like. It doesn't go far enough for the scene of Tad turning the tables on Loretta and tying her up unfortunately.
And I was mistaken in my earlier post...the last name of the bad guy (and Loretta) is Rutherford, not Morgan. So the actress is whoever was playing Loretta Rutherford. And the year was definitely 1990. Hope this helps a little.

NCIS LA
Just tuned into NCIS LA in the last 10 minutes and Kenzie is sitting in a chair, hands ziptied in front. She chokes out the guy talking to her and frees herself a second later. Not sure if there was a capture scene or anything else. If not, there isn't much to this then.

Sounds quite good regardless, how did she free herself?

There was gunfire outside and the guy turned around. Kenz choked him out, pulled a knife from his pocket, and cut herself loose.
