Friday May 18 01:17:23 2018 Anything of interest in "Book Club"? |
"Book Club" opens today, starring four actresses all of whom gave us classic scenes 40-50 years ago: Jane Fonda (Barbarella), Diane Keaton (Sleeper), Candice Bergen (Soldier Blue), and Mary Steenburgen (Goin' South). Now they're in a book club reading Fifty Shades and getting BDSM curious. The official trailer suggests there's plenty of bondage-talk: Steenburgen in particular has a nice flirtation with her husband as she passes him a handful of zip ties. Even without a scene, it might be a fun date movie. Anyone want to take one for the team and report back? |

Betty White could be reading Fifty Shades of Grey but it doesn't mean I'd have an interest in seeing Betty White all tied up. :P |

"But except for a pair of wayward Spanx that threatens to strangle one of the ladies, there is mostly talk and no real S&M action. Turns out that the steamy bestseller simply serves as an ice-breaker. Instead, this fairly laugh-packed comedy aims to address the desire for intimate companionship in older adults, an increasingly topical issue as more Americans live into their nineties." |

Speaking of books... Looks like the girl in last year's "It" movie will be our new Nancy Drew in a new Warner Bros. movie. |

Friday May 18 22:50:02 2018 Tessa Thompson? |
The trailer for the new film "Sorry to Bother You" features a brief glimpse at what appears to be Tessa Thompson taking a gag off her lips. This could possibly mark as her second gagged scene this year with her first being in Annihilation. She was cleave/otm gagged in that film. |
