[849] Raven (1997)
Scene is at 1 hour and 10 minutes without commercials (dvd version).
Scene is maybe 20 seconds long.
No second scene or anything.
Skirt is a pink mini.
This movie is terrible, or a guide on "how to make a 80's action film using every cliche in the book", take your pick.
The only redeeming thing about it is that you get to see her tits, and more importantly, see the camera guy lose focus when you do. Many times.

Description: Around the 85' mark (with commercials), Ms. Allen's briefly shown wearing a very short skirt, sitting with her legs crossed in a chair ducttapegagged with her hands tied behind her back.

(I tuned in just before this occurred, based on the earlier time given as "near the end of the movie". I can't say for certain that there isn't more before this quick scene, possibly a grabbing scene, or another BG shot.)

Alternate version, perhaps?
Record number: 1723

Title: Jake Speed (1986)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Karen Kopins, Rebecca Ashley, Unknown

Description: Maureen Winston (Ashley) and an Unknown actress are kidnapped by white slavers. The kidnapees are shown wearing only black slips, spreadeagled on cots and gagged with tape.

Margaret Winston (Kopins), Maureen's older sister, pursuades a reluctant hero to rescue the girls; about halfway through the movie his ineptitude get them both hogtied with plenty of rope, but not gagged, so they can trade juvenile insults. This is an extended scene which shows hero and heroine struggling ineptly to untie their bonds.

Unknown DiD possibly Nancy Riach (?)

Ran across a copy while trying to use up the last of my latest batch of 99-cent Hollywood Video rental coupons, and decided to add the first of these scenes to my collection. (Although Kopins was still hot in those days-this was only a year after Once Bitten, after all-I've never cared much for putz duets, despite having been raised on all those Lois Lane-Jimmy Olsen numbers from the '50s.)

Anyway, I'm sorry to report that I didn't see what the author of the above reported. The Kopins/Wayne Crawford rope dance precedes the cot scenes (there are two brief ones) by a few minutes. Furthermore, the camera is at such a low angle that it really isn't clear whether Ashley and the other actress are actually tied to the cots by their wrists (their ankles are obviously unrestrained); you see ropes dangling from the other actress' wrists when she is lifted from the cot. When Kopins and Crawford make their way in to rescue Ashley a few minutes later, no bonds can be clearly seen. It is clear in both scenes, however, that neither actress is gagged.

Since the presence or absence of a gag is of such vital importance to so many here, I'm reluctant to chalk this up to simple scene creep. Database authors just don't make mistakes like that. Therefore, I'm not sure that the version of the movie I rented is the same one as the author saw. He or she may have watched one with an earlier gagged cot scene that was cut from my version. That's why I'm holding off on modifying the entry for the time being.

If the author is still around, or if anyone else saw a version of the movie more closely matching the author's description, would he or she be so kind as to weigh in as to whether my suspicions have any foundation?

Okay, got it now.
Poster awhile back didn't include date, nor entry #
See it for 848-Raven, not 849-Raven
Nothing additional

Thanx for your assist here

A little more on "Jake Speed"
Went back and actually recorded the scenes, and the clothing description is also wrong. Instead of "black slips," they're garbed in mid-thigh length robes. While Ashley's is indeed black, the other actress wears a light blue one with a satin-like sheen.

By the way, since this would also be of interest to many here, they're also barefoot.

Oh, the scene at 2 and a half minutes isn't "Olga", well, it is, but in the show it is some crazy woman in a Russian asylum who looks like Olga. The reason Olga is held captive later in the episode is that crazy russian woman has replaced her.
In the first scene, her wrists are cuffed in front (medical restraints) and she also has restraints on her ankles.

Cut and paste. Complete entry.

2 scenes in the episode. Both involve the same actress, but playing different parts.
In the first scene (about 2 and a half minutes in), a Olga look-alike is in a mental asylum.
Her wrists are cuffed in front (medical restraints) and she also has medical restraints on her ankles.

At about 12 minutes (without commercials, ~15 with), Dr. Olga Vukavitch (Vail) is handgagged and chloroformed by Russian spies. In the next scene, she's bound to a chair (arms bound to the armrests). Black skirt and heels. A rather dark scene. No gag.

At about 26 minutes (w/o commercials), you see Olga being led, wrists tied behind, through some underground complex. Some guy tries to inject her with drugs, but gets shot by "crazy Olga". You see part of this scene being repeated at 40 minutes, but from a different angle, one where you can't see any restraints.

Wait, haven't "got it"

That TVTOME site has Justina Vail playing both Dr. Olga Vukavitch and Galina Komanov
for Episode: "There Is Something About Olga" (1.16)

Editing "Unknown" back out
