| This is a IMO terrific one from a Turkish serie, thanks to the acting/expressions of the damsel. The wife of one of the main characters is kidnapped by crazy person seeking revenge. Thus, the release of the series on Blu-ray would require the scanning of the negatives and reproduction of the scans in 1080p, which is pretty expensive, especially for a series that lasted nine seasons. It's going to take a while before the series is released on high-def. |

They had their share of loosies, but in some of those older soap scenes those actresses had big wads of cloth stuffed in their mouths. You don't see that kind of stuff in soaps these days. I remember one soap scene back in the early 80s, but can't recall which one. I'm pretty sure the character's name was Brook and she was tied up in a basement. She pleads with her captor, "Please don't leave me like this." before her captor shoves a huge wad of cloth in her mouth and tapes it. I think that was first time I'd seen an OSG w/tape and it made a lasting impression on me. |
