| I can't believe I spent a whole day downloading this BEYOND SHITTY movie just to get this one scene (which, in itself, is pretty decent). In terms of looks though, I don't actually think very much of Wiig as a damsel. If you pardon the pun, to me she looks a bit 'ropey' in the face department and not particularly cute like some of the damsels we've seen recently. If I had to pick a favorite damsel from the 40s, it might just be Christine McIntyre. Just caught "Of Cash and Hash" over the weekend. I always thought it was just a re-edit of "Shivering Sherlocks" and never noticed the part where she's removing her gag must have been shot years later. She looks about 10 pounds heavier than she did in "Shivering Sherlock" which was released 7 years earlier. Doesn't matter to me though. She was still a good looking woman and her scene in "Shivering Sherlocks" is a classic. |
