| The new Argentinian telenovela "Vidas Robadas" (from 2008) deals with the disappearing of young women who are actually kidnapped by modern slave-traders to sell them as prostitutes. In cap. 19-1, the parents of one of the young ladies ("Juliana", played by Sofia Elliot), accompanied by the police, are searching the building of the kidnappers for the girls, but they do not find them as a whole bunch of the captives (one of them "Juliana") have been hidden in a secret room, tied up and cleave-gagged ("Juliana" onscreen, she is also threatened by a knife).
