Video Page

This page is for posting links to online streaming video, Youtube and things like that. The rules are somewhat looser than Discussion. You can post and discuss mainstream and related amateur video. Do not post clips from commercial videos. It's usually not that hard to tell the difference.

Yes, you can.
As well as some Mozilla Firefox add ons, these two sites will keep them for you:

http://clipnabber.com/

http://keepvid.com/

and then go here for the Converter to get the FLV's into a format you can watch.

Give those sites a shot with some of the posts here

Actually, for Mozilla users:

The Flash Video Downloader
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6584

It's good for Youtube, but has a problem with Dailymotion at times

Good luck

Just to add, remember that you can watch the raw .FLV files at your leisure without actually converting them by downloading a simple .FLV player. On my OS X, I use one called "Wimpy" that I think is multi-platform, so take a look.

You might also want to give this site a try...

http://vixy.net/

This allows you to directly save youtube videos into a format of your choice without going through the FLV step.
