Record number: 12222 Title: Law & Order: Criminal Intent Medium: TV Series Actress: Abby Royle, Kristina Valada-Viars, Kathryn Erbe Description: Episode: "Blind Spot" (6.1) Royle is handgagged just be for opening title. Over first commercial, we find Royle her dead with her mouth gagged and bloody. A blanket was lying from her waist down. When her boyfriend is interviewed, they show him a picture of her with tape over eyes, mouth and around her waist. All in the first 15 min. Valada-Viars is found dead lying against the foot of a treet. She has her hands bound with tape in front of her and tape gagged. She is dead and bloody also. 15 to 20 min mark. Erbes is hit on the side of the face with a metal object after noticing her bird is dead. Roughly 28-30 min mark. After commercial, we find her bound with her hands over her head to a hook as a fourth victim is being tortured. We only see this victim dead and unbound in the trunk of Erbes car. Erbes is tape gagged with cloth in her mouth and blindfolded with a scarf. You notice the stuffing as some picks out when you get a closeup of her face. She is briefly ungagged as her partner tries to call. After next commercial, she manages to slide the blindfold down with her arm to see that she is alone. She manages to unscrew the hook that holds her arms over her head. We get a closeup of her hands as she does this. Her hands are bound together with tape along with a leather strap. Her feet are never bound. She uses her mouth to remove the strap binding her hands, leaving her hands bound with tape. We never are showed how she removes the tape. She manages to call for help and is found in the hospital. Her scenes end at about the 45 min. mark. |

She's bound with rope, hands behind back, rope around body, ankles to the faucet, still duct tape gagged. Her shoes have been removed and her stocking feet in grey hose are tied to the faucet. There are good shots of feet. When she's rescued and the tape gag is removed, the guy pulled out packing from her mouth. |

Dressed in a black bra & panties Brooks lies on her back on the bed and allows Zane to tie her wrists together above her head with a black leather strap. They then proceed to make love, and she loses her scant clothing in the process, bringing her bound arms down around her partners shoulders. Later the couple find themselves shipwrecked alongside a shiphand and a love triangle develops. Driven insane by jealousy Zane kidnaps Brook about 80m into the film. As he talks to her the camera revels she is stood outside their wooden shelter, hands tied behind her back with rope and cleve gagged with a rolled white cloth. A noose around her neck is tethered to the top of the post she is standing against. Zane taunts her and reminds her she was similarly tied during one of their 'games' in 2001. Then as the men fight over her Brook uses her foot to pull what looks like a beer crate in front of her and climbs on it. Rubbing her face against the top of the post she dislodges the gag and then uses her teeth to free her tether from the post. With her hands still tied behind her she throws herself at Zane pushing him over then runs off with the other man. When we see her again she is untied. She is wearing a yellow hooded fleece and green sarong skirt. |

This may be the episode that the clip goes to. I only watched the last 15 minutes, so I can only assume this occurs at the beginning. Kind of an interesting tie here. Her wrists are tied together in front and the rope is passed around her neck so she can't drop her hands down. Her ankles are also tied, and she has rope tying her knees together. She is gagged with sports wrap (or white tape or something). (Her male manager is also sitting bound beside her.) Scene occured about 48 minutes with commercials for me. The second character, Katherine (Connelly), is found (I won't say where, it might ruin the show for some people) roughly 56 minutes in with commercials (near the very end of the episode). She is lying on her back in the dark when they rescue her. Her hands are taped together in front and she is gagged with silver duct tape. No shot of the ankles, but the same guy did both ties, so we can assume she is tied the same way. |

| Title: Nurse Betty (2000) Medium: Movie Actress: Renee Zellweger, Tia Texada Description: About an hour and twenty minutes into this rather dark comedy, the title character (Zellweger) and her roommate Rosa (Texada) have the misfortune of being home when the two hitmen (Morgan Freeman and Chris Rock) who've been chasing Betty finally catch up with her. Freeman grabs Betty and binds her wrists in front with duct tape while his protege does the same with Rosa, adding a tape gag in her case. After her hometown sheriff and a male friend show up unexpectedly, the friend ends up sharing Rosa's predicament while Freeman leads Betty into a bathroom where he cuts the tape, but she takes a while to pull it off and part her hands. Trivia item: Database damsel Stacy Haiduk (The Beneficiary and TV's Superboy) was cast as an actress playing a nurse in the soap opera the movie's plot revolves around, but her scenes were deleted from the final release. |
