Record number: 1062 Title: Urban Legend (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: Alicia Witt, Danielle Harris Description: Long scene beginning about an hour and 25 minutes in, with Witt (wearing a black tank top) spread-eagled on a bed. Her hands are tied to the railing of the steel bed with grey rope. The mystery killer tape gags her with a short strip of wide black electrical tape, which is later removed. She then trys to bite the villain, who regags her. Lots of screaming and struggling. When this aired on USA, the scene came in later, due to commercials. I believe it popped around the last fifteen minutes. In any event, it occurs after Ms. Witt hears screaming from a building and rushes to help. Bonus: At around the 43' mark (USA), another young woman (Harris) is handgagged before meeting an untimely end. |

Record number: 21 Title: Ulee's Gold (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Jessica Biel, Christine Dunford, Vanessa Zima Earlier in the movie, Helen Jackson (Dunford) is tied down to a bed with sheets, while she is going through severe withdrawal of a drug that the bad guys kept her strung out on. Scenes of her strugging against the bonds, and Connie Hope (Patricia Richardson) having to inject her with a sedative. This scene occurs during the first half of the movie. Helen isn't gagged in this scene. The three Jackson women, daughters Casey (Biel) and Penny (Zima) and 30-something mother Helen are tightly bound to chairs and gagged with duct tape. Close-ups of hands being wrapped in duct tape, gagged with duct tape wrapped around the head, some grunting. Casey struggles so much that, when they are discovered by (the unfortunately ungagged and unbound) Connie (Patricia Richardson of the TV show Home Improvement), we see her chair has tipped over. Scene lasts about three minutes and occurs about 85 minutes into the movie. |

| @11:00am CFTM Petit flic (1996) Record number: 1339 Title: Kid Cop (1996) Medium: Movie Actress: Sondra Currie Description: Wearing a bathrobe, she's suprised by a couple of bumbling would-be robbers about 20 minutes from the end, and winds up roped to a chair and cleave-gagged with a blue and white striped necktie. The comedy of the scene is enhanced by the fact that once the title character succeeds in scaring off the baddies, he runs off after them rather than freeing her. Also, her ultimate rescuer turns out to be a high-school classmate who still carries a torch for her-and, after removing the gag, carries her off still tied to the chair. 8:00pm CITY Record number: 2876 Title: X-Men (2000) Medium: Movie Actress: Anna Paquin, Famke Janssen, Halle Berry Description: Ms. Paquin plays Rogue in this summer movie, who is kidnapped by Magneto. She is shown handcuffed to a chair, and then to a machine of some kind. No gag, but plenty of struggling and yelling for help. Around or shortly after the hour mark. A little later, Ms. Janssen (Dr. Jean Grey), during the early part of the climatic battle scene, has her lips, nose and right eye sealed with a glue like substance (frog spit). Nothing binds her, however, and the glue is eventually dissolved off by Cyclops (James Marsden). Further on, she gets pinned to the wall with metal girders by Magneto, as is Ms. Berry as Storm. |
