The tight shot pans down her body. She's wearing a sweater, skirt and high heels and mmmphs and struggles a lot. Near the end of the film, the captured serial killer (Vic Perrin) shows Friday (Webb) and Gannon (Morgan) bound and gagged pictures he took of all 4 of his victims including the identified Thordis Brant (victim 3). There is also a quick shot of the contents of the killer's foot locker when the detectives open it up revealing dozens of bondage photos. Note: the opening sequence is often heavily edited in some versions. |

Gag looked nice & tight till the rescue, when the hero (well, Scott Biao!) simply removes it by pulling on it, showing that, at least in the very final shot, it was very loosely tied behind her head. Action starts around the hour & 10-minute mark & lasts 3-4 minutes. |

Versions of the film usually aired on British TV are the same, but the first cut I ever saw (also on TV) had a scene in which Redford started by saying, "I need your car." He proceeded to tie her up against her protestations, and just before he gagged her, she said, "This is not fair!" There were several almost-closeups of her face being gagged and struggling as Redford left. The order of scenes is also changed in subsequent versions; the original sequence made the narrative much clearer. |

| West Coast Alert for Fear Factor
At some point between the 30' and 45' mark, a pair of cute twins has a challenge some of us might like: one of the twins serves as the "damsel" chained between two posts at wrists and ankles in a standing spreadegle, and is covered with bees, while the other twin serves as her rescuer, and must rummage through four drawers to find a key to each of the four locks securing her to the posts. Each drawer, of course, is filled with bees. No gag, it's up to the constestants to have enough sense to keep their mouths closed when they're swarming with bees. |
