Record number: 852 Title: Waxwork (1988) Medium: Movie Actress: Deborah Foreman, Clare Carey Description: Foreman's character visits a traveling wax museum, the exhibits of which are actually time portals of a sort, capable of convincing viewers they really are experiencing whatever is being depicted-to the extent that if it's lethal, they really die. Pushed into the Marquis de Sade exhibit about three-fourths of the way through the movie, she finds herself a captive of the evil nobleman, who has her chained with her arms outstretched between two posts and proceeds to entertain himself and a guest by taking a whip to her. By the time the male lead comes to her rescue, she's become somewhat infatuated with the Marquis, and it takes some convincing to get her to leave with him. Later, Carey gets shoved into the exhibit and is similarly shown briefly chained between the pillars in the same long white period dress. |

To this end, he kidnaps Kristin, and duct tapes her to a canvas chair. Her hands are taped in front, and a length of tape pins her shoulders to the chair. Her ankles are taped and she's gagged with a strip of tape for good measure. Unusual ending, but I won't spoil it for you. The action begins around the last ten minutes, and goes 'til nearly the end. IMO a top drawer scene, with a well-sealed tape gag. |

I won't bother trying to explain this film; suffice to say, she gets tied up and gagged. This is a scene that only a gag- lover could appreciate. Her hands are ridiculously tied to kitchen drawer handles and she easily escapes by simply pulling the drawer out from the cabinet. But she is nicely gagged with a bandanna between her teeth. |
