No gag. @9:00pm Space/Imagination Record number: 27 Title: Twelve Monkeys (1995) Medium: Movie Actress: Madeleine Stowe, Lisa Gay Hamilton Description: In the first scene, Bruce Willis shown tying Madeleine's hands behind her with a long black cloth while she lies face down on a bed. Later, she is tied down to the bed, ankles together with a scarf, and another scarf wrapped around her body. Squirms around a bit to escape when Bruce leaves to buy a snack. Lisa is saran-wrapped up with two fellas. Ankles wrapped together, all three wrapped together around upper bodies. Later on, news reporter will remark on them being found bound and gagged. No gags shown in either scene. @11:00pm CFMT Record number: 1389 Title: Once a Thief Medium: TV Series Actress: Brooke Leslie Description: Episode: "Wang Dang Doodle" (1.6) Ms. Leslie is bound wrists behind and overgagged as she is about to be tossed into an incinerator. She bops her captor upside the head with her free foot (she'd been slung over his shoulder), and takes off running. She's recaptured after a couple or so shots of her seeking safety, and it's déjà vu all over again, when The Good Guys save the day. The sequence starts around 46' in, and lasts about four minutes, 'til the ad break. |

Feet are not tied. Some nice mmmphhh-ing & close-ups. Gag looked nice & tight till the rescue, when the hero (well, Scott Biao!) simply removes it by pulling on it, showing that, at least in the very final shot, it was very loosely tied behind her head. Action starts around the hour & 10-minute mark & lasts 3-4 minutes. |

Record number: 4459 Title: Saving Silverman (2001) Medium: Movie Actress: Amanda Peet Description: The title character, Darren Silverman, falls for the cute but bitchy Judith (Amanda Peet). Among her dictates is that Silverman end his friendship with two of his knuckleheaded friends. They retaliate by kidnapping her. After a comic fight scene, they finally manage to grab her and carry her over-the-shoulder (wearing only a nightie) to their basement. At first she's cuffed by an ankle to an engine block, still in the nightie. After the guys give her some clothes to wear, she manages to escape but is recaptured, tied to a chair (her arms to the chair's arms) with ankles bound. Later, one of the kidnappers chains her thoroughly and puts a catcher's mask on her to prevent her biting her captors. When one of the guys falls for the old "I'm really hot for you" ruse, she obtains keys to the chains and escapes when he goes upstairs. Ms. Peet spends a substantial amount of time in chains. The scenes are played mostly for laughs (it's a comedy after all). |

Venna is handgagged in a dark corn field at about 1:12 into the movie. She is held captive in a hotel room, tied to a chair, and gagged with clear tape that is wrapped around her mouth several times. This happens at about 1:16 in. There is a shotgun at the door, rigged to go off if anyone opens it. The scene is switched back and forth to several times. Numerous close-ups and wondeful mmmppphing by Leelee make this scene a must-see, even for those who despise clear tapegags! Towards the end of the film (around 1:30), there's a brief scene where "Charlotte" (Jessica Bowman) is seen (in the cab of a truck) wearing a very tight dark-colored bandana cleave gag. Shot is from the head up with no ropes or restraints visible. |

Record number: 852 Title: Waxwork (1988) Medium: Movie Actress: Deborah Foreman, Clare Carey Description: Foreman's character visits a traveling wax museum, the exhibits of which are actually time portals of a sort, capable of convincing viewers they really are experiencing whatever is being depicted-to the extent that if it's lethal, they really die. Pushed into the Marquis de Sade exhibit about three-fourths of the way through the movie, she finds herself a captive of the evil nobleman, who has her chained with her arms outstretched between two posts and proceeds to entertain himself and a guest by taking a whip to her. By the time the male lead comes to her rescue, she's become somewhat infatuated with the Marquis, and it takes some convincing to get her to leave with him. Later, Carey gets shoved into the exhibit and is similarly shown briefly chained between the pillars in the same long white period dress. |

Later, she is shown with her wrists strapped to chair arms. Cleo (Jennifer Sky) has her wrists shackled to the back of her chair near the end of the episode. She does some excellent struggling, including some fabulous pelvic/hip action as she tries to upset a table while restrained. Both Raina and Cleo are dressed in futuristic/fetishy costumes. |
