Record number: 8420 Title: Life of David Gale, The (2003) Medium: Movie Actress: Kate Winslet, Laura Linney Description: Scene 1 occurs about 65 minutes (1:05) into the movie, lasts a couple of minutes. You see a videotaped image of Laura Linney's character, nude on her stomach on a kitchen floor. Her hands are handcuffed behind her and she's gagged with duct tape and suffocating from a plastic bag sealed over her head. Ends badly. Scene 2 occurs about 30 minutes later, approx. 95 minutes (1:35) into the movie. This is with Kate Winslet, playing a reporter, re-creating the death as part of her investigation. Kate's character is fully clothed. She tapes her mouth with duct tape, then ties a bag over her head and handcuffs herself. Her reporting partner is standing by to tear away the bag in a couple of minutes. Some good closeups of Kate's face. Kate starts struggling and mmmmmphing, and her buddy tears off the bag. Good closeup of her gagged face for a second or two after the bag comes off. Scene 3, which is less than 10 minutes later. We get to see Linney's character tape her own mouth and then put the bag on. Scene ends quickly from there. At the very end of the film is a sort-of Scene 4, in which you see slightly more of the videotape with the body of Linney's character still handcuffed, gagged and bagged. |

Venna is handgagged in a dark corn field at about 1:12 into the movie. She is held captive in a hotel room, tied to a chair, and gagged with clear tape that is wrapped around her mouth several times. This happens at about 1:16 in. There is a shotgun at the door, rigged to go off if anyone opens it. The scene is switched back and forth to several times. Numerous close-ups and wondeful mmmppphing by Leelee make this scene a must-see, even for those who despise clear tapegags! Towards the end of the film (around 1:30), there's a brief scene where "Charlotte" (Jessica Bowman) is seen (in the cab of a truck) wearing a very tight dark-colored bandana cleave gag. Shot is from the head up with no ropes or restraints visible. |

When Griffin Dunne enters the apartment, thinking her predicament the work of thieves, we see her sitting on the floor, tied up with white rope. First, strands of rope are tied around her upper arms and body, above and below her breasts. The ropes cross each other between the breasts, and are cinched between arms and body. Her elbows and wrists are tied together behind with other ropes, and those are interconnected with strands that are held together with narrow coils of the same rope, in a quite artistical way. Finally her ankles are tied together too. Also, she wears quite a sexy outfit: A black blouse that is transparent-made of negligé-like material-except around the neck and at the sleeves, a black short leather skirt, nylons and black shoes |

After several minutes of Heathers refusal to cooperate, they take out an electric power generator with attached jumper cables and apply them to Heathers legs, thus giving her intense electric shocks. After several more minutes of trying to "jolt" her memory she finally gets rescued. Very cool scene. |

Medium: TV Series Actress: Jewel Staite, Abby Tenenbaum Description: Episode: "The Tale of Watcher's Woods" Kelly (Staite) is seen tied to two trees standing up, each hand flat up against a tree and bound and the wrist. Close-ups of the bindings before we see Kelly herself standing up and being menaced by 3 witches. One of them even shoots a fire arrow into her chest, which passes through harmlessly as it is only an illusion. Later we see Kelly and Stephanie (Tenenbaum) locked in cages. @Noon CHCH Record number: 4179 Title: A-Team, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Jeanetta Arnette aka Jeannetta Arnette Description: Episode: "The Doctor is Out" (4.11) The A-Team travels to South America in search of Murdock's psychiatrist. They take along a woman who claims to be his sister, but Hannibal knows she's a phony though. Roughly 30mins in they leave her tied hands behind to a tree when they head into action. She's not gagged. @5:56pm TFC Record number: 1810 Title: You Wish Medium: TV Series Actress: Harley Jane Kozak Description: Episode: "Bride and Prejudice" (1.12) The Genie's fiancee is extremely jealous of his lovely master Gillian (Kozak). So much so that she ties the lovely damsel to some railroad tracks and cleave-gags her with a nice red bandanna. Later in the episode, the fiancee ties Gillian to a rocket and fires her off into outer space. Well it is a comedy. |

In the last scene Ms Lee's character, wearing the same clothes, is tied in a car with her hands above her head. No gag. Including commercials, the 3 scenes happen approximately between the .42-.45, .66-.68, and .84-.86 minutes marks, respectively. (give a minute in each end) |

His girlfriend Lee (Bliss) is shown about 40 minutes in lying nude on her back in a bed, her wrists tied apart to the sides of the headboard with cloth strips and her legs pulled up and apart into a "Russian split" position, her ankles secured to the headboard by nylon stockings, as Bundy (Michael Reilly Burke) enters her anally. He demands she play dead, and she does as Bundy screams "Fuck you, bitch" as he comes. 2.) A victim is shown handcuffed (arms in front) in her nightie being dragged from a car to a deserted woodland area. She is yelled at by Bundy and then strangled in a graphic scene. 3.) Victim Shawn Randall (West) is shown in her bathing suit handcuffed to a metal pipe and forced to watch as Bundy rapes another victim. She is bleeding from a wound on her head and has blood all over her face. She is screaming violently. While the damsels are all good looking, the graphic nature of the movie means few will find them a worthy addition to their collection. During Bliss' scene, director/co-writer Matthew Bright notes on the DVD commentary track that she had to maintain her rather extreme position for "about an hour and a half" during filming and that she complained that she couldn't walk for a week afterwards. |

Later she is handcuffed to a bed, but when the detective falls asleep, she steals the handcuff key and runs away. Near the end of the movie, her hands are tied together with a necktie, and then to the headboard, the better to be cremated in an arsonist-set blaze. |
