Record number: 11837 Title: The Big White (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Holly Hunter Description: I can't say when these scenes occur in the film or how widely they are spaced, since this summary is based on a compilation DVD, but this is an unexpectedly cool find. (And it may even be a good movie in its own right, based on the comparisons I'm seeing to "Fargo," which did indeed spring to mind when I first saw the clip.) Wearing pajamas, Margaret (Hunter) gets captured at gunpoint, and is next seen tied to a chair with bungee cords and duct tape. Then, she's been gagged with duct tape, then cleave-gagged with a white cloth, then ungagged, then regagged (and handgagged) onscreen. Next, she's on a bed with her ankles and knees tied together with duct tape. Similarly for her elbows, wrists, and hands, which are all taped in front. She manages to grab a phone with her feet, work the gag off, and dial the phone with the aid of a digital thermometer which she holds in her mouth. Finally, she's reunited with her husband (Robin Williams), after a couple shots of her cleave-gagged again (though apparently unbound) in the back of a car. My edited clip is a solid two minutes long, which isn't bad. |

Record number: 15436 Title: SWAT Firefight Medium: Movie Actress: Carly Pope, Shannon Kane Description: Villain has two damsels tied next to two separate bombs. Shannon is tied to a chair hands-behind (no gag)with the bomb in her lap. A fire extinguisher is used to freeze the timer so that the hero has time to cut her loose. After she is freed, he finds the villain with Carly, who is tied-AOH and OTM-gagged with a dark cloth. While the hero fights with the bad guy, Shannon uses a high caliber rifle to break the chain holding Carly. Carly then frees herself, and throws the bomb which had been tied to her at the villain. |
