Time: Midnight Eastern
Channel: TCM
When a gang of thieves breaks into an apartment, the husband and wife are left tied, gagged and blindfolded in chairs. This scene isn't in the database, and I don't remember it well enough to say whether its worth staying up that late to watch.

Endure
Day: Wednesday January 02 2013
Time: 3:20 AM Eastern
Channel: Cinemax
Record number: 15486

Title: Endure
Medium: Movie
Actress: Clare Kramer, Unknowns

Description: Clare Kramer is bound and cleave-gagged throughout this film, starting with the very first scene. Lots of closeups of her with a twisted white cloth gag between her teeth in the first six minutes, and then sporadically throughout the film. She's often covered in sweat and dew, tied to a tree in the Florida woods, arms cuffed above her. There's a great tight closeup of her gagged face in profile, an ant on her cheek, drool running off her lower lip.

Also, about 65 minutes into the film, detectives find a wall in the killer's house where the killer has posted 18 different Polaroids of his victims. They're all closeups of the women's faces, and they're all cleave-gagged in the same way Kramer's character is. You don't get good closeups of the pictures, but it's pretty neat anyway.

For completists only, there's also a dead victim in the killer's lair shown at about the 58 minute mark. Her wrists are chained separately above her, but she's dead and bloody.

One fun note is that the DVD has 12 chapters, and four of those chapters in the DVD menu are illustrated with shots of Kramer gagged, two of them closeups.

Finally, the DVD has a short extra that gives us several different shots of Kramer gagged behind the scenes, including a couple of seconds of gag-talking to the director.

The Skeleton Key
Day: Wednesday January 02 2013
Time: 8:00 AM Eastern
Channel: USA
Record number: 11526

Title: The Skeleton Key (2005)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Kate Hudson

Description: About 75-80m into the film Hudson is choked unconscious and comes to in the cab of a truck, cleve gagged with a white dishcloth (Tea towel), hands roped behind her back. She moans and pleads a but through the gag as the truck pulls up outside an old house, then she is dragged struggling inside where the gag is removed but her hands remain tied. She escapes running through the house and kicks through a window to get out of the house, then uses the jagged glass to cut her wrists free. There are a few close ups of her gagged face and bound arms, the rope appears to be a little above the wrists but I'm not sure.

She's wearing a black sweater like top with lace binding at the neck, jeans and black flat heel boots.

There's also a short take where she has her mouth and eyes sewn shut during a hallucination

Thunderbolt & Lightfoot
Day: Wednesday January 02 2013
Time: 9:15 AM Eastern
Channel: AMC
Record number: 847

Title: Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Beth Howland, Leslie Oliver

Description: At around the 105' mark in the 150' TBS airing of this film, Clint Eastwood and George Kennedy break into the home of a vault manager and his wife (Ms. Howland in an uncredited role). Eastwood binds the couple back-to-back, gagging her with white tape, while Kennedy happens upon their daughter having "relations" with a young man. They end up bound naked face-to-face and gagged with balls and tape, the ball gagging of the young woman is shown.

Later, the hapless parents make their way to the daughter's room and discover the young'uns in their predicament (this is when we first see them bound, the earlier scene only showed the daughter's ballgagging, IIRC).

Caveat: All footage of the daughter is missing from the TBS airing, save a quick ungagged head-and-shoulders shot.

Fatal Error
Day: Wednesday January 02 2013
Time: 7:30 AM Eastern
Channel: Showtime Beyond
Record number: 1211

Title: Fatal Error (1999)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Janine Turner

Description: She's an Army scientist tracking down a virus that she and her disgraced-doctor boyfriend discover is transmitted by a new all-in-one communications device, courtesy of a mad programmer working for its developer.

The hacker accosts her after she slips into his house and ties her to a chair, hands behind her back, in his basement, enhancing the symbolism of the scene by using computer cables around her wrists and torso, a flat ribbon cable to strap her head to a board fastened to the chair back, and wide black electrical tape to gag her.

Action begins around the last twenty minutes.

Time: 3:50 PM Eastern
Channel: Encore-Family
Record number: 631

Title: Mystery Mansion (1984)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Jane Ferguson

Description: A prototypical example of the dreaded "family adventure film" genre. The baddies, in search of a treasure map, grab Mom and take her to the "Mystery Mansion" (don't ask).

She is seated in a chair, hands tied in front, ankles bound, and cleavegagged. On one point, she attempts an escape while her captor dozes, but stumbles and falls, and is roughly set back on the chair.

Action is in the second half.

Time: 4:15 PM Eastern
Channel: Sony Movie Channel
Record number: 979

Title: The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1982)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Lesley-Anne Down

She is carted to the scaffold with her hands tied behind her and secured to the tumbrel with a rope around her neck, as the crowd throws refuse at her. She is standing on a stool with the noose around her neck when Quasimodo (Anthony Hopkins) rescues her by fighting his way onto the scaffold and cutting the rope, then carrying her off over his shoulder into the cathedral as Lon Chaney did in the silent original.

The Big Empty
Day: Wednesday January 02 2013
Time: 10:00 PM Eastern
Channel: Showcase
Record number: 10348

Title: The Big Empty (2003)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Rachael Leigh Cook

Description: In this limited-release comedy with a sci-fi bent, Ruthie (Cook) is kidnapped offscreen by her lovesick ex-boyfriend Randy (Adam Beach). 48 minutes in, our hero John (Jon Favreau) finds Randy holding her in a junkyard, tied up in the back of a truck. Wearing a flowery blouse and jeans, she's cleave-gagged with a red bandanna, her hands are taped in front and tied to her knees with a leather strap, and her ankles are bound with a wide cloth. "She broke up with me!" Randy shouts. "So you tied her up?" John shouts back incredulously.

Meanwhile, Randy's threatening John with a chainsaw, so John decides to buy himself some insurance by holding a gun on Ruthie. This gives her an opportunity for some great emoting (and some great closeups). Randy backs off, and John pulls down Ruthie's gag. "YOU WERE GOING TO SHOOT ME!" she screams, which is all the excuse John needs to put the gag right back on and carry her to his van, still bound and gagged. As he does so, he admonishes Randy: "This is not how you treat a woman. You don't kidnap a woman. You don't tie her to a chair." (Well, actually, in the final cut of the movie, he didn't -- but see below.) "You don't put a gag in a woman's mouth!"

A few moments later, we see John dropping Ruthie off at home, no longer gagged but still bound (or so we infer). "It's alright, Mom, he rescued me," she explains. "It wasn't him that tied me up, it was Randy." "Randy did this to you?" Mom asks. Ruthie just smiles coyly, and John stoops to lift her out of the van.

But that's not all, because the DVD offers more great extras for us than literally any other that I can remember. Turns out that, as originally written, Randy grabs Ruthie a *second* time, as shown in three consecutive deleted scenes (starting with the one entitled "Goin' for a Ride") and one extended scene ("Randy's Speech in Desert"). First she's handgagged, and moments later, we see her gagged with the same red cloth and tied to a chair in the back of a pickup truck. The bondage in this sequence isn't actually all that convincing -- it seems to consist primarily of a sweater that's loosely tied around the chair and her torso, and her ankles don't appear to be bound at all -- but once again, the emoting and closeups are top-notch. (Not to mention that her blouse this time around is a lot more low-cut.)

Still not enough, you say? Be sure to check out the commentary tracks for both the junkyard scene in the film itself and the second deleted scene in particular. After various comments about how Cook seemed to spend half of the filming process bound and gagged (and about how freezing she was during the pickup scene), the director goes on in both cases to describe an incident that happened during the filming: gas was leaking from the vehicle, the crew were scattering in panic, and Cook could only sit there tied to the chair. This struck me as somewhat odd, due to the aforementioned lack-of-convincing-bondage factor -- but the director tells us that Cook will never let him forget it, so who knows.
