Spirited away to a Viking ship, she is supposedly sacrificed (brief scene of struggling and mmmphing until Richard Widmark knocks her out, then a brief shot of her unconscious cleave-gagged face), but later turns up in the hold lying on some sacks with her wrists tied behind her back. A good deal of struggling and muffled cries. At one point she manages to spit out the knotted cloth and cry incoherently about "her father" and "hate you", but Widmark quickly handgags her then jams the gag between her teeth and knots it tightly behind her head. Record number: 377 Title: Thoroughly Modern Millie (1967) Medium: Movie Actress: Unknown Description: In a sequence near the end, perhaps a dozen extras portraying kidnapped victims of a "white-slavery" ring (the film is a musical set in the 1920s) are shown tied and gagged in various positions in cages, awaiting shipment overseas. The lead character (Julie Andrews), in search of her missing friend (Mary Tyler Moore), comes upon the fireworks warehouse where the women are being held. In the confusion that follows her setting off the fireworks, she frees one woman standing with her hands tied around a bar in front of her cage, then another lying on a bed with her hands tied behind her head. Neither Andrews nor Moore is bound during the scene, but Moore is briefly hand-gagged during a struggle. Earlier in the film there is a scene of the ringleader (Beatrice Lillie) chloroforming one of the victims. |

Record number: 13521 Title: Don't Worry, We'll Think of a Title (1966) Medium: Movie Actress: January Jones Description: Bad spy spoof starring Morey Amsterdam, Rose Marie and Richard Deacon of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" which may still prove entertaining to those old enough to remember its era-or its cast, given that even they obviously didn't take it seriously. Jones, an attractive blonde with really nice legs in an even nicer period dress and heels, ends up about an hour and twenty minutes in tied rather sparsely but prettily to a chair, one rope running from her crossed ankles to the chair back, another around her midsection. She's also gagged with a rather thin fold of cloth, but manages to get in a few good mmphs regardless. She holds her hands behind her as if they're also tied, but they're never visible. There's another actress by the same name in the database, but it should be noted that they are obviously two different people, given that the films in which they appear were made nearly four decades apart. |
